The menu is cute and references parks and recs. I got the Leslie knope and they are hands down the best waffles I’ve ever had. Would recommend!

This is a great breakfast/brunch spot! My friend and I went here and got the original waffle with syrup on the side and it was delicious. I love the location of this place as it’s in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It’s the perfect place for you if you love yummy waffles!

Really great waffles. I had the Leslie, no powdered sugar add goat cheese crumbles. Yumm!! The coffee is exceptional. I had an oat milk Caramel Macchiato.

Waffle was sooo good! We caught the employees right before closing time but they were still so accommodating and served us up. I got the Mojo Jojo and it was delicious! You can never go wrong with Nutella and bananas.

A Q
While a bit on the pricey side (especially since our Canadian dollar currently has a lower value than that of the U.S.), Syrup Trap started off our amazing food adventure road trip in the America splendidly. Warm and cozy, with interesting, delectable waffles, I fell in love with this place in a snap. From the time my wife and I walked through its doors, to the atmosphere and the service and finally the FOOD, this is another gem in the restaurant and diner world that I will never, ever forget. My wife had the “JG Squared” waffle, topped with lemon curd and organic blueberries, and she enjoyed every single, scrumptious bite. I myself had the “Audrey” waffle and it was just to die for. Who knew goat cheese, roasted hazelnuts, and honey made such a good combination?? It was delicious and paired really well with the side of bacon I ordered. I would give this place 10 stars if I could, but since I cannot, I reckon a well-deserved, glowering review would have to do. So here I am. Writing about this awesome breakfast place that you must try, try, try!

Everything was super delish! The s’mores one with peanut butter, marshmallow whipped cream and Oreo was soooooo goooooood. Super sweet, so had some help finishing it! I really enjoyed my London Fog beverage; not too sweet and perfect amount of foam with a lovely presentation. My hubby got the Sammy one and found it super satisfying. We chilled outside with our pup and a staff member got us a water bowl, always appreciated!

There were seven of us and we tried 4 different toppings. Everyone’s were fine. The flavour of the waffles was good and the staff were nice but seems ridiculous that you’re charged extra for maple syrup on the side at a waffle joint, particularly as they’re a little dry without it. Overall a little disappointed based on all the hype. They’re not bad but we certainly wouldn’t rush back.
