Food was very tasty. I liked the soft tofu and jalapeno for the main dish. Garlic sauteed beans and the green onion quesadilla equivalent were awesome appetizer options. Vegetarians have quite a few options to order from.

Highly recommend if you like spicy food. Amazing spicy fish fillet. The foods are generally with large portions and are quite oily. Full of pleasure full of guilt.

Recommendation: The spicy beef dish we ordered was an absolute delight! The stir-fried vegetables were also delicious and had a delightful crispiness to them.

Sezchuan food has some great flavors and the competition is fierce on convy. Between various size “Spicy” dwellings ( House, City, village, county etc.) this is a relatively well put together alternative which actually feels like a restraunt instread of a DMV breakroom that serves food by day and hosts animal deathmatch betting in the shadow of night.

This place offers so many different items on their menu including some of the traditional Chinese dishes you can’t find anywhere else. I order from here regularly some of the dishes are better than others but never had a bad experience.

Sublime. Authentic, eclectic szechuanese food. The waiter was very patient and wonderful with my elderly mother, who knows no Chinese and could have had a disaster of a night. Spicy dishes are spicy, numbing dishes are numbing, dishes with “piquancy” in the name had a wonderful blend of herbs and spices. We ate through the chefs special Ham Hock, which I HIGHLY recommend. We got spicy shrimp, chongqing smoked duck, and the special spicy, herby pork tripe. Page one items are really something else. The ham hock was soft enough to slice up with a spoon, collagen bits and all. I’ve already mentioned the strong flavors, I should mention that the chef is clearly invested in balance. Perfect ratios of all flavor elements, but just a LOT of them. With the closing of red moon noodle house, this and the next door Shan Xi kitchen will be my permanent go tos. Definitely tell your waiter your experience level with Szechuan food- the intensity was varied for my and my mother’s tastes in a very accommodating way.

This place is a great hidden gem with amazing Szechuan food! The prices were quite good for the portions and quality. The spicy boiled fish and twice cooked pork were amazing!

For dinner we ordered salt and pepper crispy chicken, eggplant, and pork dumplings. Without a doubt the crispy chicken was our favorite. We will definitely be back.
