This place is definitely worth a try. This is only my third visit here but each time the food was hot and delicious. We had sampled the different tacos and they were amazing. The quesadillas were also on point. Rice and beans were perfect. The chips and salsa were amazing too. The salsa has a little kick, just like I like it. The restaurant itself is extremely clean and the service has always been excellent. You can’t ask for much more from an eatery. We have yet to order from the bar but it is clean and tidy. As for the overall rating, I fully expected to see something like 4.5 stars or better. Some earlier reviews from “local guides” did some undeserved damage with their one and 2 star reviews. This place is easily well north of 4 stars. It’s definitely worth a try if you’ve never been. I’d like to see a lunch menu with specials but besides that, the food is excellent!

Seeing some of the more negative reviews I was skeptical about this location, however after eating there I have no idea if the negative reviewers are from the same restaurant I ate at! Not only was the Xiomara (our waitress) amazing but the food was delicious and quick! The guacamole was flavorful and both orders (mine being pastor tacos and my boyfriends being carnitas) were beautifully presented and even better tasting! The price was completely fair for the quality and quantity of food! 10/10 will be eating there again and will be telling my friends to eat there too!

One look at the menu will turn you off. Prices are higher than a Las Trancas, for example – a sit down restaurant that serves hot food, larger portions, and complimentary chips and salsa. $7 for a kids meal? In one of my pictures, you can see half the quesadilla that came with the kids meal, along with rice. I had three tacos. The pastor appeared to be warmed or cooked a bit, maybe. The steak was cold and so were all the tortillas. That’s a simple fix and I can’t think of a single excuse why they’re still serving cold tacos after other reviewers mentioned them too.

The server was kind, but the food is overpriced & not very good. The street corn was SO acidic, it was inedible. Chicken tacos were dry and flavorless. I expected more & spending $30 on 3 tacos, 1 order of street corn & 2 cokes was disappointing. Expected much better- unfortunately, won’t be returning.

Was so disappointed! Ordered thru grub hub cause I was told ur establishment was good, food wise, was definitely not good! Ordered the chicken fried chimichanga… zero flavor and was literally cubed chicken rolled in a tortilla. The black beans were hard and again zero flavor

Bad, bad, bad! The fish tasted rotten! The tortillas were mealy. The chips are the only thing eatable. Tried a margarita while waiting. $9 and it came from a mixing tank with Montezuma tequila. Way way over priced! Threw everything away. Drive the 20 min to Ranson and get Ortega’s.
