Food is very good.Plates, Combos, specials are excellent. Service is good. The flour tortillas are not good. Too thin and small. Should be thick and fluffy. If my grandmother was still around she could sure teach them. I have never had flour tortillas like my grandmother ‘s anywhere and I am 70.

Decent meals with decent prices. Chips and queso are made fresh, which also means they are super greasy. The rice had to be served seperate because they still needed to make it. It was also a bit hard and crunchy. The rest of the food was quite flavorful and dinner plates are about $9, which is really great.

I said you can’t find bad Mexican food in San Antonio; I stand corrected . You can and it’s here … The food was bland , nothing tasted fresh , tacos had no seasoning .. staff didn’t seem to care if we were there or not . People coming in trying to sell perfume to their customers, Two guys sleeping by the entryway .. I love authentic Good Mexican food ! I’ve never been disappointed as much ! My sons tacos de barbacoa tasted like corned beef hash meat from a can but greasier .. sorry but this is just bad !

I love chilaquiles and I’ve been too so many places but this place is a NOOO. The chilaquiles were soggy and flavorless not to mention it felt like I was eating mushy leftovers. I was only able to eat 2 spoonfuls,paid and left. The coffee was good though i’ll give em that though.

UPDATE 2/3/22: In response to the owner’s reply, you didn’t notice how I did leave a tip on the receipt? Secondly, and most important, the double charge was a duplicate amount charged on my credit card. SO THAT MEANS THAT YOU AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE THE TOTAL COST OF THE MEAL AS “GRATUITY”????? The fact that you don’t acknowledge the dishonesty can suggest that it stems from the top-down. Even more reason for my review.
