My family and I have been coming here for about 4-5 years and more often as we’ve moved to Fort Lauderdale. We’re Mexican and this was the closest “authentic” place to us and we liked the food. Food is OK and tolerable enough for the average white American. Recently, we noticed that the meat in our tacos we order were slowly becoming less and less each time we ordered (different times, we order once a week) and we thought “OK inflation is hitting us all, it’s fine.” But today was just LAUGHABLE. We ordered 10 tongue tacos and I swear we had 6-8 teensy bits of pieces of lengua in each taco and (this was the final straw) 1 ONE singular piece of lengua in a taco. $3.75 for a lengua(tongue)taco. And they put more cilantro and onion than meat.. also their “horchata” tastes like boiled milk and cinnamon powder. Not a lick of rice or all of the rice at the bottom of your cup. Pick your poison. In conclusion, the tacos are ALWAYS cold and really greasy and they’re extremely stingy with their meat ($3-$3.75 for 1 taco) they’re opposite of Arby’s, “we have the meats” LMAO. I’d rather drive 10-15 minutes further to TAQUERIA DOÑA RAQUEL in Pompano #notsponsored. Taqueria El Paisa, hechale mas carne a sus pinches tacos! Perdieron un cliente que gasta buen dinero con ustedes cada semana. Y que se vayan muy a la chingada . Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

It’s just OK! I truly expected much better from an authentic Mexican eatery! The prices are as if you’re at a sit-down restaurant… not of a hard wooden bench being drowned out by the loud traffic this establishment faces. The quesadilla didn’t look ANYTHING like in their menu and was definitely NOT worth it (very disappointing)…I think I would have enjoyed a Chipotle quesadilla better. Taco de carne y Pollo…meh! BTW, no diet sodas whatsoever. If you’re starving and there’s no other place…. they’ll save your life… otherwise…. hold on and go elsewhere.

Today July 30th, 2023 I stopped by to pick up an order of tacos ( after driving 30 minutes to get there) the lady who had taken my order on the phone talked to me in a very unpleasant and disrespectful way for no reason whatsoever when I asked her if my tacos were ready. I advised her to talk to the customers in a very respectful way since her wages are paid with the money we leave there. She didn’t even offer an apology. I won’t go back to that place again. Any customer should be treated with respect.

I tried their Asada, Cabeza, Barbacoa, Campechana, and Adobada tacos. All were delicious!!! Will definitely be back.

For authentic Mexican street tacos, this is the place!! I’ve going eating tacos from el paisa for the past 5 or 6 years and I never get tired of them. I highly recommend them, only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the food is always consistent, I’d say they’re 87% consistent with their food. Prices do also go up and down a little bit. I still recommend you try them out and get your own experience, a 6 year customer who knows what good food is wouldn’t keep coming back for no reason

These tacos are by far one of the best street tacos I’ve had. The favor from all the different meats is perfect and juicy every time! The one thing they should really work to improve is their wait time. It’s a popular spot, so I’d suggest having a few people taking orders and also in the kitchen too. I did have to wait about 40 min for 6 tacos. Nevertheless, that won’t stop me from going back. These tacos are the best!

Absolutely disgusted in the way we were treated, food took forever, we got our food after the 10 other people that came 10 minutes after us!! Then to open my food and have a piece of hair in it!!! Parking lot is near impossible to get in/out of when full! 0/10 so not recommend! A lot yummier authentic places with better prices!
