My family and I ate dinner here this evening. The interior is a small typical pub and is exactly what you think it looks like from the outside. However, when we entered, the bartender who was also our waiter, told us we could grab a seat outside. We sat on the patio and although our expectations weren’t super high, the food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic! Highly recommend.

Passing through town on a late morning searching for a decent place to eat. The Diner in town had people waiting outside. We found the Tavern on the Trail and parked just steps away. The owner greeted us like we were family, the menu had a great selection, and the service was excellent. The food was fantastic and nobody was disappointed. Generous servings and fair pricing. The tavern and the restrooms were spotless. Two thumbs up!

Stopped in on our recent road trip from NYC to Chicago. Tried the wings and the buffalo chicken cheesesteak and both were AWESOME! The wings (garlic) lived up to the great reviews. It was also dollar wing and dollar draft night. Would’ve stayed and played bingo and had beer if we hadn’t had to get back on the road. Thanks for a great dinner!

Straight up the best wings I’ve ever had. I make my own wings and buy them at almost every bar I go to and the buffalo garlic wings at Tavern on the Trail blow them all out of the water.

We enjoyed our dinner tonight. The atmosphere is fun and very uplifting. We ordered cheese curds, a burger, loaded cheese sandwich, and the chicken strips. Large portions!!! Nice location to stop in White Haven PA. We left paying $50 (Including a nice tip).

They have a beyond/impossible burger on the menu that doesn’t show up when you look online, which we were really grateful for. Bartender/waiter was incredibly pleasant Stopped in as the turnaround spot for a ride from Rockport and was perfect spot for lunch and a beer.

Very nice little restaurant, and to say I was pleased with the chesesteak that I ordered would be an understatement. I would venture to say that the cheesesteak I ate here was possibly the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The portions were generous, and the staff was polite and prompt. If i ever make it out to this area again it will be a must to go back.
