Went with a group and had dinner. Our server was full of smiles, attentive and looked like she was really enjoying herself!! It was refreshing! The atmosphere is welcoming with art for sale on the walls. They feature wood fired pizza but offer several specials, soup and salads. The restaurant is small so anticipate a possible wait. They also have a few tables outside on the square!

We stopped at The Bistro to try the pizza I wanted cheese pizza with black olives, but they didn’t have black olives, so I went with a basic cheese pizza. The pizza was ok; more oily than I like, and the cheese was rubbery instead of soft & stretchy. Service was ok.My overall experience was not exceptional, not bad, just ok.

The food here is amazing! I usually order the brussel sprouts because they are so, so good but then I tried the crab cakes and have found my new favorite!

The garlic knots burnt but was told oh that’s due to the firewood oven, the coconut shrimp overcooked awful , and the my pizza burnt as well!! I mention to server she tells me that’s because of the firewood oven ♀️ with no care and it’s not until I’m upset that she says I can have them make another one ( then I’ll wait another 30-45 min). First I said yes but David said just get a box we’ll feed it to the dogs and just leave. That’s what we did asked for the bill and box and watched the table next to use get their pizza that was perfectly cooked nice and golden brown. Never going there again awful awful place!!!

Great little place in Inverness near the old Courthouse. Lots of great pizza varieties and the fried green tomatoes are some of the best I’ve ever had!

If you are blessed enough to get a table here, you’re in for a treat! Let me start by saying we are pizza snobs, yes I said that. You MUST try the house made sangria! We started with the fried green tomatoes they were rich and hearty! We ordered our go to pizza with pepperoni and onions. It was amazing and satisfying!

Did the ownership of this place change at some point in the last 6 to 7 months? The hours seem to be worse and the pizza isn’t bad…but it used to be great. Just trying to figure out the disconnect. Half the time you can’t get in to eat since they close so early.

We regularly pass through Citrus County and my wife and I used to love stopping last year for lunch at Bistro2. Our two most recent visits have left us with a permanent bad taste. My wife’s fried green tomatoes were burned black on the bottom. Does ANYONE in the kitchen even bother to check the food quality before sending it out? We used to love getting pizza but the crust is often undercooked despite us asking for a crispy crust. I can’t say much about the pizza toppings as they are on the scarce side. The one bright spot was the table service, but a polite smile isn’t enough for us to return to this failing restaurant.

We have been going since it opened under this name. I feel like management or ownership has changed recently and at this rate its sadly not going to last. Please hire some adults it’s all kids and anytime you give them feedback, they really do act like they don’t care what you have to say.

I don’t know how we just discovered this place. We got the Buffalo egg rolls, the bistro cobb, their fungi menu pizza, and French onion soup.
