History in the making! This is one of the oldest bar and grills in the boro. The Boro’s staple is awesome live music from local and national acts. This is such a memorabilia, a staple for older crouds in the boro but in bad need of a new face. Replacing felts on pool table. New h/vac system for comfort and quality air. It’s a ghost town now that brought up to date could be a 5 star hit.

I’ve grown up on this block, performed at this venue and know it’s history pretty well. The Boro Bar and Grill has been around since my parents days of going to MTSU. I give it a 5 star review for being low-key and a good overall dive bar. You get out what you put in when it comes to this bar as a musician. The beer and food is what you’d expect. Rock on!

Visiting Murfreesboro and I had the most fun at this place. The live music was amazing, the staff was attentive with service, and it had a fun crowd of people. Everyone feels concerned with COVID and the need to be cautious, the bar was a very open concept with great airflow that I felt lower the risk. I am not going to stop my life, but I can be smart about where you go and this place meets the grade.

Absolutely love this bar. There’s been a good crowd each time I’ve gone. Excellent bar food. Good for live music on certain nights and has a “Dive Bar” feel. So if that’s your jam, I definitely recommend.
