A great stop after hiking Lost Creek Falls is The Cranberry over Superior. They have a very nice dog-friendly deck for you to eat at, but again you have to go in and order at the bar. They have a fun cocktail menu and I highly recommend the Maple Sriracha Chicken Sandwich. It was one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time!

I’ve been stalking this restaurant on socials and I finally got to visit for a birthday celebration. Did not disappoint. We started with an order of the best onion rings ever. Get the smoky ranch dipping sauce. Friday fish fry featured trout. It was perfect. The Penne Vodka special devine. We didn’t have room for dessert so we grabbed a piece of rhubarb tort to go. I would pay for that recipe. We split it 4 ways. I don’t think any of us will settle for anything less than our own piece in the future. We will back!

A must stop if traveling HWY 13. Food was very good with a slight twist. Rosemary & Garlic fries, buffalo blue cheese Brussels sprouts, chicken pot pie, and maple sriracha chicken. All items were delicious and can’t wait to try some of the other items.

We stopped in here during a blizzard in December and just had the bloodies, which are something to see in and of themselves. We saw desserts being made and knew we had to come back for food, so we did. My gosh, amazing! Service was awesome both times, in the dead of winter and busstle of summer. It’s tough to find staff, and Herbster isn’t left out. But they are busting their butts and did a great job. The Sriracha Brussles were a great app. It’s a cool place in a cool space and has great food and drinks to boot. You can’t beat it.

A hidden gem in Herbster that serves up a diverse and creative menu. I generally don’t expect to find gluten free options (or even knowledge) outside of larger cities, but that expectation is broken here. They have GF buns, pizza crust and are willing to modify most items on the menu.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. The food was amazing. I had the gyro and it was so amazing. The cheese curds were also the best I’ve had. Everyone else I was with all had amazing food and drinks. The cheesecake was the best cheesecake I’ve had. Our waitress Jojo was amazing as well. We had a party of 15 and she handled it extremely well. She was also very funny too and very kind.

This place is great! Food was really good! I had an amazing chicken pot pie and my husband loved his burger (he is picky). Good beer list and a decent wine list. Dogs can be on the patio which is a big plus and service was great. Nice stop on your way to the south shore
