This is an opportunity to eat in a true historical home. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed we enjoyed the blueberry pancakes. Fresh blueberries by the way. The French toast, was amazing. The bacon was A nice thick cut cooked perfectly.. Sausage was linked. Of course good sweet tea. TVs hung over the fireplace so you can watch your sports whether it’s golf or baseball. Friendly staff. 100%-A grade on their health inspection. Tables had hand sanitizer. It was wonderful to have a fresh country breakfast at grill great pricing, in a small town. 10 minutes from Manchester, Ga. Close To Warm Springs and Pine Mountain. Enjoy the rocking chairs on the wrap-around porch. But best of all enjoy great Southern food.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impression! Delicious food, fresh coffee, comfortable prices. You can enjoy a historic house, attended by its owner, a veteran of the armed forces.

Great food fooled to perfection. Little pricey but it didn’t even matter. The owner a veteran who server our country deserves to be rewarded for his services. And love for his hometown. Which he serves everyone well. His wife, his home and his country. He deserves the world. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. And for your service. Thank your beautiful wife to for her services, supporting you in all your endeavors. Bless you both with the best this life has to offer. True blessed by your company.

Beautiful home turned into a restaurant. I love these. Usually these are the hidden jewels of a small town. Just caught a glimpse as we were riding by. We decided to stop. Not many customers for Saturday lunch. I got the catfish cutlets and it was great. Wife and son had the burger. The burger patty was noticeably smaller than the bun. They said it was good. The older waitress was a little slow. She was friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable.

A gorgeous home turned into a wonderful small town jewel that offers lots of space to fit your dining parties needs. I loved the private dining areas the restaurant has available. I enjoyed an enormous steak omelet with red potatoes, eggs, toast and a beverage that not only was delicious but priced reasonably. The service was fast, as well as efficient and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Cant wait to return and try a new entree! I highly recommend THE CROSSING.

“The Crossing” has become a fine place to hang out for a while and have a good meal. Ms. Ruth, the chef makes an excellent salad. For those times we want to eat but are not seriously hungry my wife and I have a couple of her special salads and an appetizer like fried chicken strips or a waffle. It’s satisfying but not overfilling and it’s soooo good. When hungry, a full meal fits best, but starting with her special salad. If you haven’t been to “The Crossing” yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. John & Bessie Mae
