Stopped in to The District for an adult beverage before a show at the Music Hall. The music outside drew us in . Shalamir was the bar tender and she was AWESOME!! Great service and a nice atmosphere. Outside seating if you prefer.

Been here a couple times, it’s never been great. Keep giving it another chance. Very loud and after 45 minutes received “house eggs” like this (see photo). The over medium eggs were thrown into the bottom. The server thought I was crazy for asking for a plate.

We were there for a friend’s birthday. Too many of us i guess. The service was great despite bisy time. Food was good. I ordered Gnocchi which i shouldn’t have. But others enjoyed their food.

Our hostess Crystal T was awesome. She was attentive and noticed we were sitting in the sun on a hot July day. She made the effort to clear and prepare us a new table set back in the shade. Her personality was energetic and positive. The food was excellent and atmosphere perfect.

We sat at the bar and had excellent service from bartender Todd. I had the Manmosa (just do yourself a favor and order it!) and my husband had a vodka martini. Both drinks were great! We ordered a BLT and some wings. Side note- the BLT normally comes on amazing bread but I am gluten intolerant, so the bread shown is GF. Super cute place and has the most amazing (max dog friendly!) patio.

I ordered a hamburger here and visually I was skeptical, but once I took that first bite my skepticism was gone. The burger was cooked exceptionally and had a blue cheese and pepper jelly that made it taste phenomenal. I also ordered a cocktail with my meal and that was very good. The atmosphere is nice and is not to formal. Prices are a little bit high but is cheaper then many places in downtown Portsmouth. The staff was friendly and I can see myself goin there again in the future.

Excellent brunch. I’m a creature of habit. Got same thing I had a year ago. And it was great. Not a long wait even though it was very crowded.

Went for brunch specifically because the short rib fried rice intrigued me…it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious. Rice, flavorful and short rib was tender and all through out the dish. Egg could gave been cooked a bit less, but still ran to create a beautiful sauce. Romaine wedge was great. Lettuce was grilled which was great. Could have used a bit of salt to bring it over the top. Chicken and waffles also great. Chicken was perfectly fried and while it was boneless it was still juicy and full of flavor since they use dark meat. Interesting cocktail list. Daytime Television while intriguing in its description was overwhelmed by absinthe and all you could taste was licorice. Mad Man was simple but really good.

What a great restaurant! The service was great! Cocktails were imaginative and delicious. The pork belly stir fry was so good I opted for Pad Thai with pork belly. As good as anything I’ve had at a Thai restaurant. The other patrons were great, had a nice conversation with another diner. Ashley or Ashlene handled bar tending and waitressing like a champ. I highly recommend this, and am kicking myself for not coming in before.
