My boyfriend & I sat at the bar this evening for dinner to celebrate his birthday. Our server Patrick was phenomenal. Very attentive and personable. He greeted us with complimentary champagne. Patrick was kind enough to guide us through the menu & made great recommendations. To start we had the relish tray and wedge salad which were delicious! Patrick suggested the chicken & walleye. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes. We ended the evening with a strawberry pavlova & dark chocolate pudding. Overall a great experience!

We had a really great night here. The kielbasa was phenomenal, all of the drinks were spot on and everyone in our group enjoyed their main course. We were seated early and the staff was super friendly. They helped explain different parts of the menu, which did seem at times needlessly complex and overly technical and took us up to a train car for picture time! I specifically loved the airplane shooter of fernet which was a fun add-on.

Amazing meal with Kyle as our server. We had corn soup, wedge salad, relish tray, walleye and NY strip. Drinks were money and strawberry pavlova for dessert. So worth it.

One of our best dining experiences in Madison. I didn’t lift a finger all night – the servers are so professional filling your glasses, clearing your table, wiping down the table between appetizers and your main meal, it’s quite a dining experience. Alex our waiter was so kind and knowledgeable and took great care of us. Food was fa-nom-i-nal. And the atmosphere is one of Madison’s best kept secrets. You really won’t be disappointed, it’s hard to find places this all inclusive anymore without spending an arm and a leg. No cap

Many delicious sounding options on the menu! Tried the relish platter which was excellent. My daughter had the braised beef lasagna which she thoroughly enjoyed! I tried the trout, which was good but not great. Also had a scoop of vanilla ice cream which was absolutely divine. My cocktail was also delicious.

Fantastic experience! We found out about this place due to it being named one of the top restaurants in the USA by the NYT! We had a reservation and sat down right on time. Great atmosphere, amazing service. Food was delicious and we even got a special cocktail and desert for celebrating our anniversary. All the food was delicious, highly recommend.

My wife and I went to Harvey House for our anniversary. The food was phenomenal, the drinks well made and the service was impeccable. We dined upstairs and was surprised that the atmosphere was a bit louder than I expected, being further removed from the bar and downstairs’ more “casual seating”. That being said, it wasn’t oppressively loud.
