Went to Joseph Cafe last night. Pros: Best steak I have had in a long time, very good. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. Cons: the “salad bar” was a verity of soggy pasta salads and canned fruit. All together a good experience and I would return and recommend to friends.

Road trip through Montana is hard. Stopping at Joseph’s Cafe is not! Great food. The mushroom Swiss burger was amazing, the steak salad was ginormous and the house salad had 3 kinds of berries! 3! Stopped while road tripping and was SO glad we did! The side salad pictured is their side salad! So good and so fresh! I also had the mushroom swiss burger and it was probably the best burger I’ve ever had-didn’t look like it was going to be as good as it was, I was thoroughly surprised! If you haven’t been here and are hungry, stop in! They are so kind to boot!

Showed up to this place expecting sub par. We wanted a half way decent meal that wasn’t from McDonalds. The first thing I noticed was the interior. Everything was clean, decorated and clearly historic. We sat down, and I ordered their steak and potato. WOW! My steak was cooked perfect, seasoned amazingly and came out warm. It was the BEST steak I have had in awhile. The servers are kind and looking to serve you. I am leaving a happy camper!! 10/10 would recommend!
