It was okay. The smoked wings were way too smoky for me, but my son liked them. The fish and chips was two pieces of very greasy fried cod and potato chips. However, the next day we had the nachos covered with brisket and they were very good.

Food was great. Got tacos, salad and soups. All were very good. Mixed drinks were terrible. Bartender didn’t even make a gin and tonic correctly. Used soda water. Highly recommend, but stick with water or beer.

Awesome atmosphere. Some people choose this restaurant in order to avoid walking down the hill to get to Glitter Gulch, but it really is a local treat. The steak is fantastic!

This restaurant is built into the hillside as part of Denali Bluffs Hotel. Food was delicious after a long drive into the park and a little walk to get to this place from our hotel. Our server Brandon was a delight with bright comments, suggestions and refills of “clean mountain water.”

Nice location and views to the mountains. Ate here twice for convenience. We had the Alaskan salmon special and salmon chowder one day. It was very good, somewhat overcooked but very good flavor and presentation. Following day just had a regular burger and a veggie burger, they were just OK. The menu is strange, most are BBQ plates (strange to have BBQ in Alaska), nachos, wings, burgers and that’s it, short menu and not very inviting. Not many wine options and the one we picked they didnt have. Service was OK. Better menu and bar could make this a very good place.

I’m often leery of hotel restaurants, often with good reason. I was glad to be wrong about this one! With a nice patio to relax on and 2 levels in the dining room, pleasant surroundings overall. The menu was reasonably complete and not outrageously priced (for Alaska). We ate there initially since we were tired and had just gotten in. While the restaurant was busy, no one was frantic and everyone was friendly and helpful. Cocktails were tasty, wines by the glass limited (although they were all Kendall-Jackson, so pretty solid choice). Food was prepared quickly and served nice and hot and was very tasty. We ate there again during our stay and had a similar good experience. While there are choices just ‘down the hill’, don’t discount eating here, highly recommended.
