I wish this franchise would come back to Florida. If you are in the mood for unique and creative pancakes, nobody does it better than The Original Pancake house. From apple and cinnamon pancake to the Dutch baby Pancake. From German pancakes to amazing omelets. YUM!

If you want pancakes this place rocks! Very fluffy and delicious! Really good. I asked for a veggie omelette and sent it back. The veggies were all hard and it wasn’t not an omelette, more of a egg pancake with raw veggies inside. I sent it back and asked for two eggs scrambled with cheese on top. I got eggs runny Sunny side up with cheese. I gave up. But I would definitely come back for pancakes!

Walked in on a Saturday morning around 10:45am and were immediately seated without any waiting. Restaurant was packed too! Our waitress was on it, as were the myriad of waitresses working there. This restaurant is managed and run like a finely tuned machine! OUTSTANDING!!!

I had the German pancake and home fries and both were really tasty. The reason I put this at 3 stars is because I was told the home fries are cooked without peanut oil but they aren’t. Ended up having an allergic reaction. Fortunately my allergy isn’t life threatening but if you have a moderate to severe peanut allergy I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

I was very disappointed! I got an rotten piece of potato, weak coffee,over cooked Canadian ham & to top it off a long hair in the middle of my strawberry waffles. I won’t be coming back here again. It is what it is.

This place has been around for years and is extremely busy so plan accordingly. They have a very extensive menu but it is their legendary Apple and also German pancakes that keep people coming back for more. You’ve simply got to try one! They have a really nice mushroom omelet that works for diabetics as well.
