Went here on Father’s Day. The atmosphere was amazing great service and loved the logs you sit on. Food is amazing, did not get one bad thing. The photos are red because we sat underneath the tent so we didn’t get burnt. It’s so cool to see them cooking the food right in front of you. Would go again for a special occasion.

This place was fantastic! My friend recommended it and it did not disappoint. A group of 10 of us were on a road trip back to NY and stopped for lunch here and were all raving about how much we miss BBQ and a down to earth place to eat. The shrimp, veggie bobs, clams and corn were delicious and we didn’t get the steak but we joked that we’d take the train up another day just to try it. We have some foodies in the group and all of us were so satisfied with our orders. The atmosphere feels very simple, friendly and humble which you don’t experience much in NY food establishments. It felt very homey to a group who all live far from home.

Lovely spot. We stop here every year when we drive up to cape cod from Philadelphia. Yummy seafood in a wonderfully casual outdoor setting, feels like a seafood bbq in a friend’s backyard. The fish and the corn are both delicious!

Stripped down, bare bones place with a great outdoor atmosphere (since 1971). They cook your food on an hardwood open pit which adds to the ambiance. Service and staff are friendly and accomodating. Food….is exceptional. Had 1-1/4 lb lobster, roasted corn, and clams. Nice local crowd tonight and had good music playing as well. Top notch for those seeking something different and fun. Will be back here again for sure.

I went to a friend’s birthday party, hadn’t been there in many years. Food was ok. You bring your own sides and alcohol. I’m just not a fan of sitting on tree stumps. Very small menu and everything is done on outside grills. I had the bluefish and barbecued clams. Not bad, just not great. There’s too many other places to go in the area. Very little shade and I think probably buggy at night. The service was mediocre.
