New to the neighborhood so I was looking for the closest dinner, I found this one nice and small or cozy you might say. Decent menu staff nice but I’m not sure if the owner was there some disgruntled guy complaining, maybe it was because he went behind the kitchen, whatever I’ll be going back every now and then.

Nice old school jersey diner with fast and friendly service. I ordered the pancakes and bacon on a Friday afternoon. Price was reasonable and the food was served fresh and hot. Spot is small but I love that it still has that traditional diner feel. There’s not a lot of activity or at least there wasn’t when I was there so it looks like it might be closed but they’re open. I’ll be back soon to try more food.

Great customer service and great food. They serve grits without lumps in them and they have the best turkey bacon around. The owner, Gus is generally there working with his staff. I have been going to The Plaza Diner for breakfast since 1990 and I have always had a great meal and a pleasant experience. It is a small Mom and Pop shop but they put their heart and soul into all that they do and they stay very busy. So come hungry and enjoy!

Gosh Plaza Diner. I have been coming here since I was 8 or 9 years old and at 23 I still come back around after moving because the IMPECCABLE SERVICE and FOOD!! this is the BEST diner food in all of NJ no debate.
