Update* Ate here 3/24 and the experience was even better than the last time. Noah was our server and he did a fantastic job despite how busy they were. Eating at the Plaza is always fantastic. Their salsa and guac always taste fresh. The queso is delicious and the medium is enough for 4 adults. Their drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is detail oriented and their food is some of the best Tex-Mex in Lubbock. The honey sriracha shrimp tacos are a favorite!

My wife and I had dinner here on 2/12. We showed up around 7:40 and had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. It was worth the wait! The Avion margarita was delightful and the sampler blew away all of my expectations. So delicious! The skillet enchiladas were wonderful too. Even though it was very busy, our server was kind and attentive. Great experience. Definitely going back.

The food was really good, the service was top notch. However, this place is expensive $$$. I wouldn’t mind coming down here to celebrate special events such as birthday celebrations or anniversaries. I cannot afford to be eating here every Saturday. I like the build your own burrito. The chips and salsa were good too. I highly recommend visiting.

Called in for a large dine in group. Told would have table at 7. Upon arrival, I was told sorry we don’t take reservations. Could have us seated in about an hour. Upon getting seated, it took another hour plus to get food. The 6 child plates showed up last. Food caused stomach distress to all guests a few hours later. Will not return ever. Taco Bell would have been a better choice.
