This place looks great but everything else was terrible. Incredibly overpriced and the food was terrible. They served us on dollar store plates. They still had the stickers on them so I was slightly concerned that they’d never been washed. Their “gourmet” coffee is Community coffee which last time I checked was a popular brand at gas stations. They had the nerve to charge us $4 for an 8 oz glass of OJ that was Minute Made… not even fresh squeezed. Not to mention that the food actually made my mother in law and husband sick! $70 for 3 people to eat brunch with no alcohol and we got food poisoning. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Stella’s on Dixie Farm is a better choice!

My husband and I have been waiting for this place to open up and man were we happy it did!! We both ordered The Classic with a side of pancakes.

The food is delicious. It has its own and delicious taste. Service was also really good. We ate the classic Benny, Ham Croissant, and apple pie.

My wife and I were lucky enough to be the first customers on opening day for The Rooster. We had the Eggs Benedict and the Chicken and Waffle. We’ve been to breakfast/brunch places all over the greater Houston area, Austin, San Antonio, Nashville, and DC, and I have to say the food at The Rooster ranks right up there with the best of the places we’ve been. The menu is well thought out and accommodates a wide range of tastes, and the dishes are delicious. We’ve been back for lunch, and the Crispy Chicken burger and the Street Corn burger were fantastic – and I could eat a bucket of the tots. The menu prices are perfectly fair for the quality of food you are served. The only improvement I’d like to see, especially since the focus is breakfast and brunch, is the addition of an espresso maker with a variety of coffee drinks (and a better quality of coffee) – but this isn’t enough for me to drop even half a star. Also, a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa would be perfect. Overall, we’re very glad to have The Rooster nearby and we highly recommend it, and we can’t wait to see how they evolve!

So many good things to say about this establishment, but I will start with the service! Absolutely amazing. Wasn’t sure where to start, but the waiter lead us in the right direction and we were very pleased with the outcome! I got fried green tomatoes, not pictured cuz I devoured them! I’m not a coleslaw person, but their is very good on top of the green tomatoes. Delicious. All the food was fresh and very tasty! Will be back.

After being the only table in the place – having to wait 40 minutes for a burger and open faced egg and bacon sandwich is sad.

The food was great and so was the service. The price was decent for the food as well. The host/hostess (staff) was welcoming. The place is relatively new and they did a great job with the music, ambiance, and taste of food. Definitely will be back when I visit the area. Thank you!

The food was so delicious! Probably the best brunch place I’ve been to in Pearland!! The place is also so cute & the service was great. I got the street corn burger and it was like nothing I’ve ever had before. Would definitely recommend everyone to try!

Food is absolutely delicious and the service was great. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs. It comes with side salad that has wonderful dressing. Definitely give them a try.

I’m writing this review while being mindful that they are in their soft opening phase. We were excited to try a new brunch spot in Pearland and love to support local. We came in around 11am today (sunday) and it didn’t seem too crowded. They had one server who was doing her best to accommodate every table. The service was a little slow as far as getting our food went. Appetizer came out at the same time one kids meal came…we waited about another 5-10 minutes for the rest of our food however they forgot my sons Mac and cheese. I had asked to add the sausage it came with on the side because he likes it plain. They brought out what seems to be their main entree mac and cheese that came topped with an egg, bacon and parsley — definitely not a kids meal. I asked our server if she could bring us the kids one and she came back with a small plate with what looked like whatever they could scrape off of the other dish and charged us $8.00 for about two spoonfuls of Mac and cheese. My husbands biscuits from his biscuits and gravy were also all burnt.I know the waitress could tell we weren’t going to like them either because even she could see how burnt they were. We are not ones to complain so we paid and left and will not be returning which is what a few other customers seemed to have been doing as well during our time there. Hopefully they can change some things around to better serve their customers.
