San Jose staple. Some of the best tamales in San Jose. Definitely recommend pre ordering online for pickup because the walk up lines can get pretty long and the Plaza that it’s in isn’t the best. But amazing tamales and atole every single time.

Best place for tamales in San Jose! Better believe there’ll be a big line before the holidays tho!

A lot of masa. Where is the meat? We spent like $30 for a dozen of pork tamales. I felt the price was too expensive for what we got.The size of the tamale was ok, but 2 were considerably smaller and mostly masa. Flavor of tamales was not real tasty, but not bad. Did the job for a tamale fix.

Undoubtly a good place for tamales and atole… but… but their tamales are over priced…4 dls!… each? Also, a good smile may be good while attending customers.

Tamales are probably the best tasting in the area. The problem is walking up and ordering. The process is horrible if you don’t preorder a week before Christmas. The parking lot is packed so good luck finding a spot. I walked up around 9am and waited 15 minutes in line. When I was ready to order, the staff said no walk ups until 3:30pm. There should be a sign that says this online so you don’t waste gas and time.

They make these tamales fresh everyday! A bit pricey but still worth it.

My granddaughter rated their tamales a nine out of 10. I’m on a diet, but I know what a great tamale smells and looks like and these are the real deal.

I recently came back after 19 years, when I was 10 my mom would go to the laundromat and get us a tamale after she was done. One of my favorite childhood memories ! Tamales are as good as ever !!!

Pre-ordered tamales for the holidays and everyone loved them. Tasty masa and juicy pork meat. Not spicy but the red salsa is delicious as a add on. Great customer service too! Will for sure be back!
