This is a MUST for lunch when staying in the area! Hubby & I are staying in Mentone for the weekend and were recommended this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious – the fried deviled eggs were AMAZING & the burgers were HUGE.. and soo good! Our waitress Ashley was the sweetest and did an amazing job at making us feel right at home at a new place. We would definitely come here again.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant!! The staff were just precious and the food was absolutely amazing. It’s a short drive from where we were staying in Mentone. I sent my teenagers off to breakfast by themselves the first morning we were in Mentone. They came back raving about this place. They wanted to go back the next morning AND the next! So we did of course! The grill cheese and tomato soup was so not your typical soup and sandwich, it was fantastic!! The food was southern soul food with a flare!! The prices were very affordable for the amount and quality. My kids tried the chicken and waffles, waffle sliders, omelet, cheese grits and biscuit and gravy. They were blown away with it all! I had the stuffed French toast the next morning, with blueberries on the side. Oh and I tried a pancake! So so so good! This place is a must if you’re in the area!! I’m a people watcher and one of the waitress’ baby and significant other came to eat while she worked the first morning and they were just too cute!! I could tell by the interaction of the staff that all the locals frequent because they knew so many by name. The staff were very friendly and diligent. The “chefs” in the kitchen were just that! They cared about the food from their kitchen and it was definitely evident in the taste. We travel the state and all over the world for experiences and the food. This place was on point! I love the small town feel!!

Came to Mentone Alabama for vacation from Florida and looked up places to eat near by. Seen such great reviews, had to try it out. Went for breakfast and it was amazing. Waitress was so friendly and the place extremely clean. Loved it so much that we went back for lunch and got the cheeseburgers and fries, son got the Philly cheesesteak and we all got the peach cobbler which was out of this world. Wish, I found it sooner because I really wanted to try everything on the menu. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good homemade food, great service which is hard to find and extremely clean. Can’t wait to come back. P.S. Big shout out to the cooks, food was truly amazing!!!

Very cozy small town restaurant. Friendly staff. Love the atmosphere. This was our first time here & we enjoyed it. I’ve heard only good things about Tiger’s Inn. The food was fresh & the drinks are ginormous. When you order a blackboard special you get a free tea & dessert. The cheesecake is awesome. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back.

We ate at the Tigers Inn for the first time today. Lemme tell you it was worth the trip there. The staff was very knowledgeable of the menu items, the food was fantastic, and the over all experience was wonderful! We will definitely go back and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Definitely get the blackboard meals of the day. They come with drink and dessert for $10. I had chicken pot pie with butterfinger cake. Very attentive service. It was a popular place!
