First time eating here tonight. Have to say it was pretty great. The restaurant itself has a very relaxing and home like feel and the staff is very. The food was amazing, big portion sizes, very reasonable prices and you can tell it was all homemade. (Highly recommend the crab dip)

A great mom and pops diner! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The owner stopped by our table to introduce herself and make sure everything was ok. The vegetable crab soup was a big hit and the cheese steak was stuffed with meat. It is now a favourite stop with our 96 year old great uncle.

Great family restaurant atmosphere and home cooking. Saturday and Sunday morning breakfasts are a must as they have the best French Toast around. They also use the better, restaurant quality chicken tenders that both myself and my kids love! The staff is also very welcoming and friendly to everyone that comes in the door, and one of the two owners are always there to make visits complete.

A five star family restaurant. I had the Cream of Crab soup and it was outstanding. The main course was 2 very large pork chops excellently cooked with a delicious creamy Cole slaw and first-rate old bay fries and a decent cup of coffe. All for an affordable price.

Went there for dinner. I ordered a Cesare salad. I got a house salad with Cesare dressing. That is not what I ordered. I also ordered the meatloaf. The meatloaf was absolutely nasty. It didn’t look like meatloaf and didn’t taste like meatloaf. My husband got the hot turkey and was sick all night. My son got the bacon cheese burger and he liked that but that was it. We will not go back.

Had dinner at the Trappe Family Restaurant tonight. Ordered Hot Roast Beef with gravy. Beef was cold to touch when served, sent back, they added a pile of hot gravy on same plate,, Wife ordered salad, meat has weird smell, she picked off for our dog, not sure I will give to dogs.Grandson ordered Hot Dog kids meal, the dog sure was hot with spices, he did not eat, but sure finished his sweet tea fast, had to order crackers to get spicy taste out of his mouth. No plans to eat there again. Here is a tip, find the Hidden Gem menu and copy, possibly hire their cook. Food always great at Hidden Gem. Don’t think this restaurant will be around long

Stopped on the way home from the shore and hoped to have good crab cakes but they don’t do them in the winter. Food was fair but nothing special. Might be better in the summer when they have fresh crab.

This is a friendly place for the family , very clean & the food is prepared very well. I would take a date here anytime. During hunting season this is the only place with special early morning hours for hunters breakfast specials.

Apparently they don’t do business over the phone, called about 5 times to place and order to go and never got an answer. This has happened more than once. Went somewhere else. Sad, there isn’t many choices around. I’m sure they’d get alot more business if they actually answered their phone.
