My first visit to Uncle Juan’s. The chips were hot and fresh and the hot sauce was decent. Chips and Hot Sauce will determine if I eat at a Mexican restaurant again lol. They had a good variety of menu options to choose from. I had avocado and chicken enchiladas with spicy green sauce, rice and beans. Everything was delicious. I’ve eaten at a couple of Mexican restaurants in the local area and they have been a NO..but I’ll be back to Uncle Juan’s to explore more of the menu…hopefull this can be my local Mexican food fix!

It’s a absolute banger of a spot when that tummy do it thang. Only downside is that their is no Horchata even tho it’s a Mexican restaurant. If Uncle Juan made wedding reservations then it would be $300 richer since that would be my maximum spending limit.

I ordered parilla plate, comes sizzling hot topped with shredded cheese. Very good, tender fajitas, not chewy. Will definitely come back.

Rarely ever disappointed me in anything. Decent Tex Mex in my experience but nothing life changing. For consistency I’ll give a place a four that may be average and a three. They have good stuff and their chicken suiza enchiladas never disappointed. You carry decent chips and salsa like them and hair never appears in your food that a 3.5 off the top anyway in these days. They are not worth passing up and way better than Amigo Juan on 59 at their best. Instead of following 59 keep straight thru the light and come thru to downtown Atlanta and eat here it’s only an extra mile and half. You won’t be disappointed.

I don’t think it’s on the menu, but you can ask for the hotter sauce for your chips. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent.
