Ugh… not sure why I keep giving VB a chance. Nearly walked by today but was feeling something light for lunch and remembered they had spring rolls. Total for 2 rolls + tip was nearly $10. Only had 2 single orders a head of me and waited nearly 40 min. When I got back to my office I found 2 poorly wrapped rolls and one was completely exploded (had to find a fork since I assumed I wouldn’t need one) Tofu was hard and saturated in sauce. Sorry yall – that’s gunna be my last time.

My first impressions were good. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The food was a little overpriced though. However, the food took a long time to come out. The food was delicious though.

My favorite Banh Mi, and the cilantro dressing is so good! Simple food done very well, super tasty.

To be honest I was very excited to try Viet Bites but was left quite disappointed. The food took a long time to come out despite the restaurant being almost empty (2 people were there that hadn’t gotten there’s yet either). Once we got the Banh mi & pho it was a lot of DIY (had to add the dressing to the sandwich that came in a very small container and wasn’t easily spread onto the sandwich because there weren’t knives available). To add insult to injury I found a very long hair in my sandwich, and it was all the way in my sandwich. Overall the food was really mid for the price, wait time, & presentation.

The spring rolls are good but the peanut sauce is disgusting. It used to be good maybe 2 yrs ago, but now it’s watered down and has a very weird flavor. The pho is just okay and the bahn mi’s are pretty good – I have gotten raw chicken though. The noodle bowls are good and their tofu is delicious. The service is good too, there is one employee who always seems so nice and bubbly. I don’t know her name but I love when she takes my order!

I love their Bahn mi and Pho Bowl special. That is my go-to for lunch when I’m hungry. I also tried the Milk Boba Tea, and it was deliciously refreshing. Will be bakc to try more food!

I’ve loved this place for 6 years now, and spend about $1000 a year on food here.

Some of the items on the menu are way overpriced. Especially vegetarian pho with clear broth and tofu – compared to several other restaurants. The taste is good and home style. Good egg rolls. The only upsetting thing is that every time I have walked into the restaurant over two years it smells really strange. The locals are used to it / don’t mind – but it can be off putting for someone that is sensitive to smell/ it’s not very pleasant. I love their range in drinks including the pre-made refrigerated section as well as variety of boba tea. I would eat here at least once to see if it’s your favorite or a pass. It’s an inviting place where you can get a soul soothing meal.

Searched Vietnamese restaurants in Denton and two popped up. This was the better of the two based on others reviews. Food presentation was nice and order came out fast. We ordered vermicelli bowls and a spring roll. Vermicelli noodles weren’t even used. Vermicelli bowls are usually served lukewarm or room temp, these bowls were cold. Spring roll was a typical basic shrimp spring roll with the same thick noodle used in the bowls. Tofu was fried but they definitely weren’t fried when ordered, which made the tofu slightly rubbery. There really wasn’t any defining moment in our dishes because it lacked flavor. We found ourselves dressing them up. Peanut sauce was also generic. I think this place is a tad overpriced for bland food. Staff were super friendly and welcoming though.

I can never wait to get pictures before digging in! This is my absolute favorite go-to Vietnamese cuisine restaurant. I usually get pho, but everything I’ve ever tried there is wonderful. The noodles are always perfectly cooked and springy. The broth is perfectly savoury. The meat is tender and juicy, even before pouring your broth. If you are searching for good Vietnamese food, Viet Bites should be at the top of your list to check out! The portions are generous and the price is very reasonable. 10 out of 10!
