I’ve been on a Pho kick lately, and wanted to try out this spot. It was tricky to find the food court! The service was fast, and the food is decent. Not the best Pho in town, but I also tried the cheese puffs and those were a fun treat!

Delicious. We had the Teriyaki , a Pork Chop and Spring Rolls. Lousy spot but great food. We’ll be back.

The only complaint I have is, it was kind of a mess finding the place it was hidden inside of a building, and I didn’t know by the instructions because when I pulled up it was just an old Yonkers that was all boarded up until you walk inside other than that the food was amazing. I highly recommend it if you’re in Urbandale.

Placed an online order. Woman working scolded my husband for ordering online because the prices on Grub Hub are less than what they charge when you order at the counter. She then blamed him for them losing out on money. She proceeded to stop everything to attempt to contact Grub Hub to try to resolve this while he waited on the order. On top of that, I ordered chicken pho and they gave me beef. I have a toddler and an infant so I do not have time to go back across town to try to get the right order. Very disappointed and will not be back.

I tried Vietnamese food here for the first time ever, and it did not disappoint. The consistency of the beef pho soup awakes nearly all senses; the warmth is comforting, the smell is refreshing, and the taste is appetizing.

Do not let the food court setting fool you, Vietnam Cafe is a must visit in Des Moines. After hearing about this place from a very raving @sarahbooz on TikTok, the family and I had to give it a try for lunch during a day trip from north IA (I consider myself something of a pho aficionado) and it did not disappoint. The large beef pho was very reasonably priced for its serving size and bar none, it is the best pho I’ve ever had. Period. Every bite and sip down to the last drops of broth was an absolute culinary experience, made all the more ironic while sitting in an old foot court with half of the other restaurants out of business.

Vietnam cafe is in the mall food court and it is handicap accessible.Great place for a quick lunch. Has various Vietnamese food and Chinese food. I always get the spicy noodle soup. Little bit spicy but it hit the spot every time.

Took my 9 yr old here to get dinner. The experience was incredible. The owner is super nice and very kind! We got into a great conversation about her business and family. Definitely going to be making this a regular visit for our family. All of the food was delicious! We had rangoons, pho, egg rolls, and more.
