Fish Bearded
Worst fish + chips I’ve ever had. Fish was burned, the fries were soggy, and everything was swimming in old burned grease (could literally squeeze drops of oil from everything). I ate 2 bites and couldn’t go any further (gave me heartburn the rest of the night). Also, our table was very sticky for some reason. Set my phone down and it was hard to pick up because of how sticky the table was. The young man we had as a waiter was great at least and the clam chowder was excellent. Definitely won’t be back.

The food we did recieve was decent but we were missing an item. Called the restaurant and after 7 minutes of being on hold they said they couldn’t refund us for the item all they could do is let us drive back to the restaurant and pick it up if we wanted and said it was due to the fact that we ordered online. At this point it had already been 30 minutes and I didn’t have time to drive back so we just took the loss and will not be ordering again.

We were on an adults only getaway and wanted a good, quick bite to eat. The food and service here was incredible. We got the garlic knots and the butchers choice pizza and were so impressed. Everything tasted premium and fresh. We will definitely visit again if we are in town-wish they were closer! Only grievance is the parking lot is a bit narrow which is out of their control so just be aware if you have a larger vehicle and be ready to navigate.

Very good service and reasonably sized menu that they repeatedly prepare well. Nice beer selection at reasonable prices. The Chicken and Shrimp Marsala and Garlic Knots are surprisingly good. Give them a chance for more than just pizza and take out.

I’ve had multiple bad experiences at Village pizza. Their customer service is non existent. They always make some kind of mistake every time I go there. Some minor and some major. I just have them one last chance and they let me down again. The food isn’t bad but I’d rate it mediocre at best. It’s definitely over priced for what you get. So average food, below average service and over prices. NO THANK YOU! Never again

Excellent food and service…..only reason for the 4 star is decor could use some upgrades….one of the few food places in Preston but would say also the best for food and for value of what you get in relation to price. Had the spicey Bacon Cheese Burger and it was excellent…done to my preference. The fries were crisp and not overly greasy seasoned well. Our party (6) had a variety of drinks and food and all were well satisfied with the taste and value of the meal. Would highly recommend it if you are in the Preston area.

The food here under the new ownership is unreal! You can tell that the pizza, pasta and burgers all made fresh and not from frozen items. The pizza, pasta and of course the chicken Milanese are amazing! Our food was brought out in a timely manner and not late at all. I highly recommend this place!!!

Today, May 28th, ’23 was the 2nd time I ordered their plain cheese pizza. The 1st time was about 5 or 6 weeks ago. The 1st time, I thought the pizza was “OK”, not great. It seemed like some of the ingredients were not fresh, specifically the dough & the sauce. I did not say anything, I rationalized it as an “off” day.

I completely disagree with the two recent one star reviews. They just reopened (during a PANDEMIC), new staff, people make mistakes. Where is the compassion? We placed a take out order of two pizzas (one cheese and one Hawaiian) and a mushroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries. During pick up, THEY WERE SLAMMED. For us, the customer service was amazing and everything we ordered looked and tasted absolutely delicious.
