Small and kept establishment. Dim lighting just the way I like it. Service was nice and polite. I ordered the pork belly skewer and tonkatsu curry. The pork skewer were good. 3 pieces on 1 skewer. A bit too sweet for my palette but enjoyable. The curry was a bit too sweet for me as well. The spice level was perfect. The carrots were cooked well but the potatoes were a bit undercooked. It would have been nice to have a bit more of carrots and potatoes in the curry. The tonkatsu was good. I wouldn’t mind coming back here to try out their other menu items. Especially the hamburger patty curry.

Well-decorated spot with delicious appetizers. The safest one is the chicken skewer which was, tender, fragrant, and flavorful.

In town for a meeting, stopped by for a soul fulfilling meal and that’s what I found. Spicy tuna roll was fresh yet rich with the right level of spice. Tonkatsu Ramen was well balanced, savory and a great portion. Staff was attentive, efficient and just a great team! Definitely will make it a regular stop when in town!

I eat like a food critic so I totally ordered 4 things for myself! This space used to be Miyabi, RIP, I will miss it forever, but washoku is a worthy replacement. They are excellent.

This restaurant is wonderful. The food is high quality and delicious. I have eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The service is great and everyone I have brought here has also loved it. My favorite is the Chicken Katsu Curry. It is sweet, spicy, and savory. Highly recommended.

I tried Kurry, Ramen and Ironyaki there. They are all good. I also tried one appetizer – Pork Belly Stew, it is amazing. For sure, I will come again and again.

I ordered the grilled squid and washoku ramen. The food was great, soft boiled egg was slightly more well done than what I prefer. The noodles were perfect and the broth was very light and complements the noodles very well.

Stopped here on the way back to the bay, and in the context of “Just filled up the tank, two humans need food, dog needs a patch of grass and shady parking, this is 10/10. We had 6 apps / small plate specials, side of rice, and it was great! Service is attentive, food came quickly, tasted great, and is very reasonably portioned/priced.

We came across this nice little restaurant on our way home on Christmas. The hostess was very kind and provided amazing service. I am Japanese (despite my name, I know) and grew up in Japan until I was 16, and this place is the best Japanese restaurant I have experienced since moving to California and I don’t say that lightly. Anytime I am craving Japanese food and don’t want to cook I come here. The menu is very simple yet elegant and the food is as well, reflecting Japanese cuisine nicely. The food is full of flavor without being overwhelming and the flavors are unique to this restaurant but still resemble authentic Japanese cuisine.
