We are AT thru-hikers who stopped at Kroger to buy food and re-supplies. We had a sick friend at the hotel who asked us to stop at Wendy’s to bring her food back to the hotel, so we did. While we were waiting, we sat at a table with our sacks and also talked to another hiker we knew who was eating there.

Can you please update the hours of operation. We got back from vacation to find power in our area was out. Thought no worries we love wendys, drove 20+ minutes, got there nearly a half hour before closing to find this location was already closed. By the time we got back to our area the only gas station with some warm food was closed. Our kids and us had to go to bed without food. I realize updating hours doesn’t seem like a big deal, it ended up being a pretty big deal for our family.

Stopped here on a Sunday on our way home to Florida. It was 1:40 in the afternoon. We were the third car in the drive thru line. Sat there 15 minutes and never moved for them even to take our order. Cars were getting out of line and just leaving. Sadly, very poor management.

This place is super inconsistent. Half the time their doors are locked so you have to go through the drive through, like today. With one customer in front of me, I waited near 13 minutes to get my food. The food occasionally comes out limp and lifeless like it was yesterday’s burger. There’s usually one lady who looks like she’s doing 90% of the work while everyone else kind of wonders around aimlessly. Bojangles has a line around their building, while this Wendy’s has zero customers. It’s a shame Wendy’s doesn’t invest more into this location. They could be making a killing.

No toilet paper in bathrooms, big pile of trash overflowing. Soda spill in front of trash where someone could slip. The heavy set man at the counter was rude. He looked very angry and seemed put out when he brought our order on a tray and so told him that this is a to go order. He snapped the bag open very loudly to where people in lime all looked shocked. He grabbed and touched my fries with bare, sweaty hands and shoved them into the bag. He was sweating and wipiig his sweat with his hands then touching everyone’s food. I told him earlier that there was no toilet paper in either stalls earlier. Then about 10 minutes later, another lady told him the same and he just looked annoyed. He looked angry throughout the whole time we were there. The cook in back had a long beard but no net over the beard or his head. I have been a secret shopper for restaurants in the past and this store was the worst i have ever seen. This will be the last time we will go into a Wendys after this. It was absolutely disgusting! If you would like pictures, I will be more than happy to send you photos. Not sure this will go to the corporate office or not so I will also send it personally to the office.

Refused to honor Wendy’s special offered through August 6 of the new 99 cent coffee. This Wendy’s has been a problem Wendy’s starting during the pandemic when I asked why I was given a sample frosty instead of the small which I ordered and one of their employees started to come out through the window evidently to whip me. When I contacted the manager a few days later on the phone he told me that he didn’t care

I walked in today at 8:00 a.m. to order breakfast and was refused service and told by a rude and belligerent woman behind the counter that the “dining room was closed” and will open at 1030. As an AT hiker, I explained we did not have a car but still did not receive any consideration. I observed many employees standing around…appearing not to do much of anything. It is quite incredible that she could not take our order “to go”. There was no signs on the doors or window stating the dining room was closed and the door to the restaurant was unlocked. Crazy! We went next door to Bojangles, where we were welcomed to eat inside and business was thriving and the employees polite and professional.

They never get the order right. Ordered an asiago chicken club and got a piece of chicken with tons of mayonnaise on a bun. Called to complain and was hung up on. Don’t go, customer service and food are terrible.
