It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I was worried about this visit after reading other reviews but we had a good experience. We were greeted on arrival and our order taken quickly. I’d say it took about 10 minutes for our food to come out and the food was good. The workers were all really nice as well. We went at 10am so not a real busy time but they seemed efficient. This is my second visit (first time was drive through) and both visits have been normal whataburger speed (cook to order) and the food has been good.

There have been a few times where my wait was longer been expected, but they have gotten a lot faster here lately. Even then they always immediately offered a big free drink, so I was forgiving. The people who work there are friendly. The food is always fresh and hot. I like this location, convenient for me.

The problem with the atmosphere was the floors were very slippery, and the seating was sticky. The food was excellent! Best hamburger! The service was awesome. Bryan & Norvona were so nice and had beautiful smiles. They will be the reason we return for lunch or dinner again!

Food was really good. Except it would of been a big 5 if they had remembered to put my white gravy in my chicken dinner. My chicken dinner was good tasting but it lacked that one thing that would of made it Excellent! We went through the drive thru and the Service was very fast and the employees gave us good customer service

The burgers are ambrosia in burger form, quite excellent…when everything is running smoothly. Issue is that the service is very inconsistent. Sometimes its quite efficient, sometimes there is a long wait, and sometimes it seems nonexistent. I hope they can get the customer flow straightened out as the food is quite good otherwise.

I was in the drive thru around 8 this morning and I just wanted to say how great the employees are! Lorenzo took my order and was running the front of house and there was another guy in the back (I didn’t get his name) who was also still working from the night before because they were very short-staffed. The drive thru was packed but it didn’t take very long and the food was great, but I just wanted to say how much I appreciate these 2 guys! Y’all are awesome! Thanks for the great service!

We waited 45min in the middle of the day in the name of chicken tenders! Now we placed the order in the drive thru with 4 cars ahead of us. It took us 20min just to reach the window. That enough time to have cooked the tenders. We had to park an wait ANOTHER 25 min all in the name of the chicken tenders. Ridiculous. It’s called FAST FOOD for a reason.

I’ll never eat here or at least at this one again. I don’t mind mustard but omg this way to much and employees was so rude. Don’t offer free promotions if y’all going act like. Free is free and I try not to complain when hungry and living your car. But at least show respect . Service with a smile is what I was taught but no one does it any more. So disappointed
