This is one of those places you’ve been going to since you were a kid. I love the old time feel and the classic diner look. The prices are also extremely reasonable like the good ol days. Today I had the onion and pepper omelette with American cheese. My good friend had the blt and a side of fried. I was jealous when that blt came out not going to lie. Next time I’ll have to grab some of those homemade baked goods they had in the dessert case. Definitely check out this cool time capsule in White Haven PA.

This was a fantastic little place! Our service was very kind and friendly, not to mention fast service! Everyone’s meals were super! Kid’s meals were the mac n cheese, hot dog, cheeseburger and grilled cheese. I had ordered the hot roast beef open faced sandwich with coleslaw and my husband had the hot roasted turkey open faced sandwich with fries. Everything was prepared properly and the right temperature. We will definitely be back again the next time we’re in the area.

When in Rome! This diner is a well-known landmark, and you won’t be disappointed. I’ve not been here more than 2 or 3 times but the food was good and you get quite a bit for the old fashion pricing. On the weekends you may wait a bit but buts it worth the wait. Stop and see the train and view of the river while in town.

One of the standout treasures of all my traveling! This place is BUSY, and for good reason. They give you a big plate of tasty, filling food for just a few dollars. I mean very ample portions that are around 1200 calories – enough to fill you up and keep you going for hours and hours without feeling hungry again. One thing I really love is that coffee is INCLUDED with any egg or omelette order! So yes you really get a great big plate of omelette plus home fries plus toast and coffee and the bill is only like $7. I almost feel like I am robbing the place every time I pay my bill. I wish there were diners like this in every town all over the U.S., because then both my belly and my wallet would be a bit bigger and feel more content.

Great diner experience. Ordered a cheese burger as the diner is well known for their burgers. Burgers are huge and fill the lunch size plate. Tasty. Additional charges for addon Portions are huge, Definitely worth stopping in.

The first waitress we had was so,so. We went to diner 3 more times and had excellent service. The food and prices were wonderful.

The food is always great, with nice portions and the prices are very fair. Service has always been spot-on and friendly when we are there. Depending on when you get there and how many are in your group, you may have to wait for seating. Our longest wait time was about 20 minutes, but we had a group of 10 and arrived late morning. Sometimes we don’t have to wait at all.

Good food and coffee. Loved the ambience of an old diner but there was a strange, stale urine-like odor in the place that was really off putting and I nearly suggested leaving. Everything seemed clean but that’s something to be aware of.

I was with a group that didn’t all find out its cash only until we were there. Someone said there was a bank with an ATM across the street when the group was seated, and 5 of us went to the ATM. The first one we tried at the bank was closed (bank for sale) but we saw another ATM just up the street. We all got our cash and went back to the diner only to find out they wouldn’t seat us with the rest of our group, and we had a roughly 20 minute wait for a table. If we waited, we’d be at least 45 minutes behind the rest of the group because they wouldn’t seat us all together. So, we just went to the smaller shop up the street. Food there was cheaper, better atmosphere, and they took cash or credit. Plus the food was still made to order.
