Everything was excellent and our server… Matthew?…was very helpful in describing dishes and rolls to us. He was very knowledgeable. The signature suhsi rolls were fresh and well-made. Place is BYOB which we didn’t realize til after we arrived, so don’t forget to pick up a bottle or sixer. The pork belly steamed buns were to die for.

Not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but pretty good! Ordered on caviar for pick up and it was ready in about 30 mins on a busy Friday night. The gyoza and seaweed salad were really tasty. Reasonably priced.

Just had this delivered from Yanako and I hate to say it, but I’m very underwhelmed. This cost me $30 and I got barely any seaweed salad, what looks like half an order of average miso soup, and only six pieces of the most basic sushi roll. (Come on, couldn’t give the extra two.) I live around the corner and decided to give this place a try, but I think you get a better bang (and better quality) across the street at New Leaf.

Very nice lunch date for hubby and I. Will definitely go back. We are foodies and love trying out fresh new places to eat! Everything was fresh and the server was very knowledgeable. Check them out, if you love sushi you won’t be disappointed.

Very gentrified food. Doesn’t taste like it even tried to be true to Japanese food. It’s all like vegan or experimental sushi or udon. Waited 30 mins before we even received JUST our drinks even though we made sure to order our drinks and meals at the same time. Even then, our food only started coming at the 45 min mark. Paid 7 dollars for 2 chicken skewers. They don’t even have ramen here. Just udon. The decor isn’t as Japanese as a picture I saw on Google maps but I realized that Pic was taken 5 years ago. Maybe this place had it’s good days but it definitely fell off.

Attached to the Thai restaurant next door. Kind of disappointed because I wanted to sit on the Japanese restaurant side as reservation was made for there but got seated on Thai side since there was none available in Yanako. But the food is great. I would say the portion is small compared to some places I been to, but for the location I guess its reasonable. Had the takoyaki and sushi/sashimi for two. The takoyaki only had four pieces 🙁 but perfect crunch, so soft and yummy. The seafood was fresh. Loved the rolls as it was stuffed with so much filling. However the sashimi was quite small.

Very cozy little spot on Main Street serving Japanese cuisine. Even the simple sushi rolls are very good and fresh, prices very reasonable. Also available on delivery apps, but I’d go for the atmosphere.

The sushi was delicious and the service was great! I recommend trying the spicy tuna rice crisps. I ended up ordering it twice, it was so good!
