IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY EMPLOYEES YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO STAY IN BUISNESS !!! I went here for dinner with my partner and toddler 30 minutes went by and I checked on the food and she said the kitchen never got our ticket?! Which is wild, considering we were the only people in there for the first 25 minutes you’d think you’d check on your only customers food. Service was horrific and the food was MIDS at best. We got pulled pork and brisket and they were both very underwhelming. By the time we finally got our food there was 4 or 5 other tables in there and our server never came back to check on the food or anything. Absolutely will not be coming back. Oh and our fries were late, just to be super soggy and so nasty none of us ate them! Super disappointed and quite frankly embarrassed for the people working there. Get it together. The excuse was “sorry there’s only 3 of us here” OK maybe you should close then!!!

The Meats / Additional: I ordered the Open Pit combo which included BBQ Ribs and 1/2 BBQ Chicken, fries, coleslaw and a dinner roll. I also ordered a piece of cornbread. My favorite was the the BBQ chicken, the meat was perfect and the sauce that they put on there was excellent! A must try. I also really enjoyed the cornbread, it’s sweet and buttery. The ribs were also good but the chicken really took the cake. I would order the same exact thing next time. It was plenty for me, I was able to make 2-3 meals out of it, which is great for the price.

The manager working upfront was amazing and the food was even better!!!! Absolutely delicious, they have a nice bar, and an outside patio which is nice! Their mac and cheese is SO good!!!!

Back in the late 60’s early 70’s there was this BBQ place with the most delicious ribs and sauce… My brother and I would take our extra money from delivering the Detroit News paper to buy their fries loaded with this delicious sauce. Only on special occasions we purchase their tender ribs. They were located on Conant near 8 Mile. Zunkin had the neighborhood smelling good! I stop in today I was flooded with great memories and great FOOD!!! Nothing changed! Thank You!

I lived in TN much of my life, where BBQ is HUGE. I have had all kinds. This Zukin’s location has AMAZING FOOD! We are addicted to their food. We visit almost weekly. I joke that I keep coming back to find something that I “don’t” like. I am still trying. Great place and people! Amazing Food!!!!!!

This place is awesome…the food was soooo good, chicken was tender, the fish and shrimp were fried to perfection, the ribs just melted in your mouth, the cole slaw was juicy I died and went to food heaven…the restaurant is very neat and clean…the young lady at the counter was very helpful…and yes I’d recommend this resturant…I’m going to be a returning customer.

Ribs were tough. Requested extra sauce, did not receive. Fried pickles were under cooked and greasy. I love the Lincoln Park location. This location was disappointing. Will give them another chance but if still not up to the other locations quality will not give them a third chance.
