I have been coming here for decades the food is top quality. The service… very unfriendly with attitudes. This has happened to me multiple times where a employee speaks to me with attitude. This time I come in at 5:50 which I agree is late I understand you close at 6 but when I worked in multiple food places that doesnt mean 5:50 close no orders. Immediately I walk in the door and was told that I need to check if they are still making food. I was told unless it’s a cold hoagie to leave. I say perfect all I need is two cold hoagies. The person at the front said check in back. The kitchen staff was pleasent and said yes. I paid for my order at 5:55. In my book that’s not closed. Normally, I don’t do reviews but the last time I came in normal time and was also given attitude when I asked for help. I am a nice guy not some type of a**hole. I should be greated with a “Hello, how can I help you.”

I understand we have a quarantine and we are all in this together but what about a phone in order pick-up line?? Especially when you have people inside milling about like it’s the first time they were inside an Italian Market & Delicatessen. Good amount of well seasoned meat and very tasty extras but not $12.26 good. The roll was a disgrace for the crowd you appear to be catering to.
