Food took forever to get so I figured it’d be fresh but none of it was. Fries weren’t even not fresh they were just old. They looked days old and were hard. The orange soda was funky tasting. The burgers were good so that’s why you got 2 stars.

Poor customer service. I was really looking forward to having a burger but when I went to the door it said drive thru only. I decided to walk through the drive thru because I have a camper with while filling with gas. I stood at the menu waiting. No one said hello how can I help you or anything. I said I would like to order and nobody said one word. I guess they don’t want business that bad.

I was disappointed. I ordered a plain hamburger and fries to go. The fries were warm but not fresh and the presentation of the burger was horrible. I open it up and the whole burger is squished. You could tell the buns were smushed and kinda coming apart. The burger was kinda warm and a bit dry.

Very poor customer service. I went through the drive thru. There were two car ahead of me who had already ordered. I waited at the box and the other cars went around the corner and nobody said anything. I said hello and they said I’ll be with you in a moment. I waited there for another 20 minutes and the guy just kept saying welcome to A&W I’ll be with you in a moment every 5 minutes and I was never able to order. So I finally just left not worth stoping here just go to the one in Detroit Lakes.

We stopped in to the A&W in Lake Park purely for history sake… We weren’t impressed at all.. $18 for two meals, which is the norm anymore for “name brand” establishments, but, what a disappointing experience. My wife got the grilled chicken and it filled half the bun. Bacon covered less than half my double bacon cheeseburger. The cheese was a spread, not a slice. The soda was a bit strong on the syrup, but still pretty good and the fries were excellent. Probably won’t stop here again, unfortunately.

Open for 4.5 hours? Jesus sell someone else this franchise you are running it into the ground. I like how the owner has promised to correct the barely functioning drive through at least 10 times in these reviews, enjoy bankruptcy.

I drove up here at 7:45 on my way through town with my little boy. They close at 8, the drive through lights were on, and the people were inside. I asked my little boy what he wanted to eat and the punk kids working tonight looked at us turned the lights of and laughed. I would give this place zero stars if it would let me.

Poor customer service. I understand the lobby is closed to customers but make sure you dont have customers waiting in the drive thru. After waiting 20 minutes i had to go inside to tell them they had customers waiting in drive thru. I will skip this A&W next time and move on to the next
