I knew this place was going to be special before I walked in and tasted their sandwiches. I had the bandit sandwich and to tell you the truth… I could of ate 2 sandwiches they were so delicious. They have a good thing going at that Bay Boy Specialty Sandwiches. I will be back with friends and I hope more of KC finds and tries what a great sandwich truly is…

Did not realize that this place did not have a sit down area during our visit, however staff were extremely friendly and let us know about some outdoor seating. We waited about 10 extra minutes for fresh bread which was totally worth it. I would be a frequent flyer if I lived in Kansas City. I love what I had but wanted to try at least 4 other sandwiches.

My sandwich was amazing. I had a salmon sandwich with a dill cream cheese sauce that was fabulous! I was disappointed that they ran out of lobster rolls but my sandwich was worth the wait in line. There is a reason this place is ranked #1 sandwich shop in Kansas City. It is so good. The pastrami sandwich and the BLAT are also amazing. Love the new seating area also.

This is the best sandwich sandwich spot in KC in my opinion. The bread is INCREDIBLE. They have some very unique sandwiches & chips including vegetarian & vegan options. & paired with a red bean vanilla latte from chingu in the front of the building… *chefs kiss*

This was my third time eating here and my husband’s first. I find their quality of food consistently great. I’ve never had anything like the bread they use and I love the unique sandwich combinations. I had the jammin turkey twice but, to my surprise, it doesn’t seem to be a regular item. There is plenty of food in one sandwich. The cookies here are incredible as well. For now, I recommend ordering ahead and picking up but it looks like they will have a dining space soon. It took about 25 minutes for our order to be ready when we placed it around 11:00am so plan ahead or plan to hang out. They were nice too.

Bit hard to park sometimes so we ordered pick up and just grabbed it from the ground floor walk up window. Our order was ready in just 10 minutes. AMAZING flavors!! Hands down the best sandwich in Kansas City!

Harley’s Hideaway Bar & Grill
Great food and staff. I would highlight the bread for the sandwiches. Amazing taste. I tried the cuban and my wife had the gobbler, plus had an assortment of cookies. It’s kind of tucked off the main street and is a hidden neighborhood gem. Definitely give them a try!

If you have never had bay boy specialty sandwiches then you are definitely missing out! The Dutch crunch is amazing and if you are from California like me then you have missed this bread. I have not yet had a sandwich there that I did not like, the gobbler is great, the Cuban is great, the hot pastrami is great and my favorite is the Crown town club. And their cloudy day cookies are amazing. I would eat these everyday if I could.

This is my favorite sandwich shop in Country Club Plaza area. The owner (Jake) was very friendly and courteous! He took time to go over different type of sandwiches with us and explained in details about the ingredients and meats in the sandwiches we wanted to order. We all finished our sandwiches and they were super yummy and delicious! Jake told us they make their bread fresh every morning! Highly recommend trying this place.
