Stopped by this evening for dessert. Old school feel and very authentic! Had the cheesecake and it was very good! Had live music playing. Enjoyed a chianti with my dessert which was very good. Different vibe than I am used to but really enjoyed the experience.

The food was delicious. I had the chicken parmesan over angel hair pasta. I definitely want to try many other dishes. Everything looked amazing. The atmosphere is a lot of fun! Was super excited to try this place out after the reviews. We Arrived Saturday night for a late date night (9:15ish) expecting it to close at their posted close time of 11 pm. When we were sat down the waitress with long curly hair seemed upset we were there. Asked her for wine recommendations and she was very unhelpful and then she informs us we need order quickly because they were going to close early and she walked away leaving us confused. When she comes back we asked her about the closing time and again she informs us we need to order now. We hadn’t even gotten a chance to look at the menu. The whole time she was rushed and seemed upset we had even arrived. Was very short with us. Decided to leave and go to Pie Tap down the street and had a much more pleasant experience.

The service and food were top-notch. I had a classic Italian dish and my husband had the duck and risotto… Both were divine. They seemed to have a wide selection of wines. The owner was present and working just like everyone else. There was live music (a female singer), which I normally don’t enjoy at a restaurant, but she sounded amazing and wasn’t too loud or disruptive. Can’t wait to visit Dallas so we can eat here again!

I have only eaten here for lunch because it is near my office, but it is great every time. The proprietor, Lorenzo, is a real gem. He is more Italian than The Godfather. I highly recommend the chicken Caesar salad for a nice light lunch. My buddy ordered the pizza role and it looked amazing.

Super kitschy older place, older crowd. Bread was outstanding but my shrimp & lobster pasta could’ve been good but was rubbery and actually burnt vs grilled. They had someone singing opera (meh) and several large groups. With so many other options in the area, I probably wouldn’t go back.
