We came with a very large group and basically overwhelmed the servers. They still did everything they could to keep us happy, including getting our food to us in a timely manner. Everything was as great as I could have hoped for. They were not expecting us all at once, and they handled it like champions.

Calico ghost town is an old silver mine. It funny you still see many Dutch speaking crowed stop here. Overall it is a great experience for visiting old mining town and see how people used to live back in the days of 19th century. The restaurant has a cool atmosphere, food is good and if you find servers like Shaun he will take care of you. Many local handcraft shops and other things to see. It’s a day to remember after all.

Slow to get food,finally get food and we asked for more beers,they never came out. Had to eat with no drink. Then I overheard one lady say that she just poured a half one and they can have it for free. By the time she tried to give us that,it was like 10 minutes later. So we declined. Food was really good though. Took forever to get check also. The miners cage showed permanently closed so when we got to the top of the hill,they were open. They had REALLY cold beers and food menu looked good. Go eat there instead.

This is an awesome place that we happened to visit unplanned just because we were hungry on our drive from Las Vegas to LA. This restaurant and this small town is on a hill top and closes at 5pm but is worth visiting. The food was also fresh and tasted well. The beer was great.

Terrible service! We came in and waited to be seated. Waitresses passed us at least 5 times and never mentioned for us to seat ourselves. We figured it out and finally sat ourselves. We sat at the table and again, waitresses passed us and never said a word for over 20 minutes. I finally got a waitresses to bring us menus. Then we waited another 20 minutes and she walked by us at least 10 times but would never take our order. I got fed up and left. The place was busy, but not that busy. I will never go back!
