Would’ve been 5 ☆s but we called before we left the house & asked if they had the seafood buffet tonight & asked what time they closed. Got there in 20 minutes & was told it was too late for the buffet. That was the whole reason for us going there. I ended up getting the boiled crabs & they were delicious. My wife got the seafood platter & everything was fresh & delicious.

They have some great tasting seafood. Their stuffed shrimp and crabs are to die for. Fried shrimp, catfish and oysters are great too. They serve a buffet with a large variety of seafood. Even have boiled seafood in season. But if course if you aren’t a seafood eater you can always get a hamburger or a big juicy scrumptious steak cooked to your liking. Excellent good with an accommodating staff and a simple down home atmosphere. One of the only places to get both good fried crawfish AND a good solid steak. A Mother’s Day tradition for the locals. I had a 20 oz NY Strip steak medium rare. Comes with a refreshing salad, a side (the stuffed potato is packed with flavor) and a nice roll.

01/28/2023 was our first time going to Landry’s and we went for seafood. First of all , the crawfish and crab was hardly seasoned. What happened to the spices .who is back there boiling that mess . I had the seafood buffet which was down right nasty. Who makes shrimp stew and fried shrimp with TINY undeveined shrimp and charge you 27$ each. I had a two spoonfuls of the shrimp stew and couldn’t take another bite. I was chewing on sand , grit ,and shrimp poop. The quality of the food sucked and wasn’t worth the money nor the 10$ tip we left on the table. That’s my first and last time going to that establishment. Simply put

Was good tasting. Fried crawfish were really small, the homemade potato chips were awesome, daughters fried shrimp were huge and tasty. Would recommend. Plus only like 3 miles from home. Good birthday meal. Got bread pudding to take home. Plus enough left to take home.
