At our Columbus, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This location is okay make sure you check your food before leaving. I received overcooked shrimp. The manager informed me that some people ask for it to be cooked extra. I informed him that I didn’t make the request. Just be extra specific when placing your order.

Usually I love captain D’s but not at this one. They didn’t have any sugar so they couldn’t make sweet tea, and they didn’t have ice. Most of everyone’s food was cold, and when I went to get a refill on my drink the employees looked at me then turned back around and started talking to each other again and ignored me and another customer. We want be going back to this location.
