The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! Enjoyed their outside patio. Most notably was that, when my purse was turned in, a worker walked two or three blocks looking for me to return it to me! I greatly appreciated that effort which was far beyond the call of duty! Thank you!!!!

Just a local gem! My husband and I ate here last weekend when we couldn’t get reservations at the beehive tavern. The food was really good, and I love family owned restaurants. It’s an older establishment, but that’s just part of its charm. Make sure you order ice cream before you leave!

Super nice hole in the wall. We ate here by accident because the Bee Hive is now by reservation only. But this place was great. I had the fish hoagie and my wife had the chili spaghetti. Both were VERY GOOD!! We also had the Mozzarella Sticks for an appetizer. They were the best we’ve ever had. Service was great!! For a standard pizza place it was a nice treat and far exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to eating here again in the future. Too bad we live in NKY or we would come here regularly.

On a Saturday afternoon, my husband & myself along with our 4 year old took a drive from Florence, KY to Augusta. We stopped at Carota’s for lunch and we were not disappointed. The staff was so very welcoming and even gave my 4yr old a couple of quarters for the gumball machine. The pizza was delicious we had sausage. The ingredients were really fresh. Our little one had the cheeseburger and fries and it was the best I’ve tasted in a long time. This is the exact kind of restaurant I wish we had in our neighborhood. Will definitely make another trip to August for Carota’s.

Busy at 2:00 on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Loaded fries were great! We got a 12″ meat lovers pizza to share for 2 people and left with some slices in a to go box. Crust was crispy and of a good texture. The pizza sauce was very tasty! I’ll be back to this local favorite spot during my next trip to Augusta.

What a horrible 1st visit. I travel all over and when you visit a mom and pop looking restaurant you expect really good food and a wonderful experience. This being one of the only restaurants in town I was highly surprised it was completely empty besides myself. I asked the waitress if the chicken parmesan was good and if it was real chicken. She said it was so I ordered it. It ended up being a quarter inch thick frozen chicken patty that they attempted to Grille and it was quite disgusting. Overall the spaghetti was cooked correctly in the sauce I’m sure comes out of a can and was not made in the restaurant. I’m very surprised a larger food chain doesn’t just buy this place and sell better food. The highlight of the dinner was the garlic bread. It was cooked perfectly crispy and seasoned wonderfully. I will try this place again in the future and maybe give it a better review when I try something else that’s been frozen and cook to order.

First visit ever! No wait to order at 1 pm. Order a very tatey Steak Hoagy with Mushroom sauce, cheese and pickles. Very satisfying. I sat by the river a short walk away and enjoyed my lunch.

We travel to and visit Augusta Kentucky a few times a year and typically try to visit Carotas Pizzeria. Ingredients are always fresh and tasty. The dining room is comfortable but a little small but they do provide tables outside for eating also.
