The service was amazing. Top notch. We ran into someone at a brewery later on in our trip and they said oh Peruvian food shouldn’t be that expensive! And I quickly told them it was worth every penny. Besides, going to a restaurant should be more than that. And this place is! The inside is tiny, but cozy and nicely furnished. The mango mimosa I had was to die for. Several waitstaff waited on us and you could tell they liked working here. Attention to detail was great. The ceviche to start was the right choice. Food was presented well and tasted amazing. DO NOT skimp on dessert. My favorite was that custard. I’ll be dreaming of it. Highly recommend.

One of the BEST meals we’ve ever had! We recently realized how amazing Peruvian food is and wanted to try this place while we were visiting St. Augustine. It did not disappoint! Everything from the service, the drinks, the food, the plating, the design, and especially the desserts, were amazing! I can easily say this meal was one of the highlights of our trip. If you are visiting St. Augustine, make sure to add this to your list of places to eat. We will certainly come back to St. Augustine just to eat here again! Great job, Llama Restaurant!

My husband and I just visited The Llama Restaurant while on our babymoon and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The quiet and cozy ambiance, combined with the impeccable service. The attentive staff members especially our server Alex were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing their love for Peruvian cuisine. They provided excellent recommendations, answered our questions with enthusiasm, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Such an amazing little gem. Very intimate setting with an incredibly attentive staff. The entire front staff were phenomenal. The food blew away expectations. The aromatics that accompanied two of our selections added another level to the experience. We had the beef heart app, the grouper and surf and turf entrees and the sacred valley dessert. Drinks were great as well. Cannot wait to come back!

Our first time here for our anniversary, and had the best experience anyone could ask for. From quality of service to small details of changing the silver ware before each course. THE FOOD IS EVERYTHING, DELICIOUS, ARTISTIC, INTERACTIVE.We will be back again. Reservations only. Also my husband has celiac and they have plenty of gluten free options and will adjust the plate as needed for the person.

The Llama is a culinary experience you do not want to miss out on! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and attentive to every detail! The food is impeccable! I had the ANTICUCHOS for an appetizer, the CORDERO CUSQUEÑO for my main course, and the SACRED VALLEY for dessert. All recommended by the staff and they were spot on!

Llama Restaurant is a tiny little place that you wouldn’t think too much of, but the second you start getting your food, you are IMMEDIATELY blown away! This restaurant is awesome! It serves high-end Peruvian food that I’ve not seen replicated anywhere else. They take taste, as well as presentation, to the next level. Do be warned it is a small restaurant so it will be pretty loud, especially the later you get there at night. However, you’ll be so absorbed with your food, you won’t even realize what’s going on around you. One nice touch – I loved the Peruvian corn snacks that were immediately brought the second you sat down. The waitress we had was wonderful, everything came out in a reasonable amount of time, and all the different food items, drinks, and desserts we tried were awesome. Super fresh and flavorful! You really can’t go wrong here, so try a bunch of stuff and explore the best Peruvian cuisine has to offer!

Wow so glad I came back and got to try Llama Restaurant after almost a year of visiting St. Augustine. Such a beautiful experience from start to finish. Brough my friends I was visiting for their first time and each step from drinks to apps to entrees felt like a movie. Beautiful ceviche and rack of lambs. The host and those who helped bring our food and dessert were so kind. Such a cool restroom. Really an all around Peruvian experience. Lit by the sun and some dim lights with smooth music to fill the atmosphere with reunions and specialties. Love this place and hope I can make it an annual visit to try all the foods it makes. Love it so much. Thank you Llama and right before my bday.
