Food was great! The food and staff were great! The staff was very friendly! The reason for 4 stars is because they definitely need to improve their drive thru. They have 2 drive thru lanes but they made me merge into one after I ordered. Because of this it took longer to get my food. The person that took my order basically waited until I pulled up right to them to take my order. Unlike other Chick Fil A’s where the people taking the orders will walk way out to you. They also have a guy who was asking what the name on your order was after you merge together in the drive thru. The guy then asked me if I had paid and I said I had a mobile order and he looked at me like he had no idea what a mobile order was, lol. This was pretty pointless and they could have had this guy delivering your food if they wouldn’t make you merge together. What is the point of having a two lane drive thru just to use one lane? They definitely can improve their drive thru and speed it up. Overall everything was good though.

I’m from Birmingham, and I guess maybe I’m spoiled by the service at those CFA’s. Even Sylacauga’s is on a high level. But the one in Alex City? Every time I go there, something is messed up. They forget to put the sauce I’ve requested in my bag, they’ve missed food items in my mother’s orders, they have 2 lines for drive-thru, but only one open, not to mention that the drive-thru is always extra slow, similar to how all Hardee’s used to be. I don’t understand why every other Chickfila I’ve ever been to in 40 years have quick and efficient service, but this one is always a sub-par experience. I appreciate the family who runs it, but the service isn’t the typical CFA gold-standard experience. I keep hoping to have a good experience at this location but I rarely do. I’m disappointed.

Compared to other local CFAs, this one is severely lacking…. something. Not a place i enjoy going to. The food is OK at best. Employees seem undertrained and/or over worked. Rumored from a friend that work there is that this location is super toxic to work for and is underpaid compared to others
