So what happened to the fried rice? I always get chinese food from here and i always look forward to the beef fried rice. But for some reason today (8/19/23) something seemed off.. Like they used different rice or didn’t put enough soy sauce.. idk.I just want the old fried rice back:( Does anyone feel the same way?

I have been getting food from here all my life, and going through these reviews it dosent seem they want to bring back old recipes or take inspiration from costumers noir the previous owner. As a restaurant owner it’s best not to be so defensive when people leave review take it and make adjustments rather embrace it. I hope they start to pick it back up because i’m personally gonna give them one more opportunity to make a difference before I switch my local restaurant. Bring back original fried rice. Thank you!

Carlton and Roosevelt wheaton China star they have been around for over 20 some years the food has always been good but in this past year the original owners had to sell the business they had problems that just no longer included running a business. The new management has done real well and has even improved the menu it took me a bit and may visit ordering food for take-out since the sale to honesty be able to say this because I was worried that it would be terrible thankfully I was wrong . When me and the wife go there it’s a treat we do spend about 45- 50 dollars but that’s 4 meals for me and 3-4 meals for her. They do have smaller meals that are great definitely worth the looking into them .

Delicious delicious delicious. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Wheaton and in need of some good old fashion Chinese food. I loved everything from the shrimp and broccoli to the egg rolls and many many things in between. Everything is tasty! The lovely family who runs this restaurant are so warm and inviting and always remembers a face. That’s great customer service! They deserve your business. You won’t be disappointed.
