Stopped in today for the first time and wow, I’ve been missing out. The owner is very sweet. She provided samples for me to taste and everything was delicious. I ordered jerk chicken, peas and rice, plantains and cornbread. I shamelessly ate every bite. 🙂 Next time I may order the curry goat. I highly recommend this place.

If I could give LESS than 1 STAR — I WOULD. Very rude, and unprofessional. I literally made a U-Turn to support this business when I was passing through from Jacksonville and was pleasantly OVERCHARGED and then Disgusted with the quality of the food and customer service during and AFTER receiving my food. Will never stop here again. Update: I don’t care for your replied comments. It wasn’t a misunderstanding. It’s not about being overcharged. It’s about how you handled the situation when it was brought to your attention. The RICE was either not fully cooked or it was OLD. Every bite I took I bit hard pieces of rice that could have broke my teeth, THE VEGGIES were MUSHY (OVER COOKED) and the Oxtails (was pretty much all bone). DOOO BETTTERRR!!!

This place has amazing food. My Son and I had oxtail stew. Flavor was perfect. Her cornbread is some of the best I have ever eaten. Generous portions. Served with a smile. Owner took time to explain what each item.

Clauta’s Caribbean Shack is delicious. We had the curried chicken. It comes with two sides. We had greens, cabbage with vegetables, white rice and brown rice with peas. We also ordered Jamaican beef pies to go. If you are looking for a great meal and something different please visit here. You will not be disappointed.
