We did not know what to expect Leo the maître d’ I’ve known for 20 years. So we figured let’s try the place out. We were so happy that we went. The restaurant itself is amazing beautiful the service was great. The drinks were great everything we ordered was fantastic. We heard rave reviews about Hunter The Restaurant where we decided to celebrate Father’s Day. The restaurant is small but spacious which gives you that intimate cozy ambiance and elegant decor. We were greeted warmly and was immediately seated to our table since we made reservations for 4 people. They served complimentary bread, olives and prosciutto ham which wasn’t too salty and melted like butter. It was a good combination to dip the bread on the broth that came with the spicy steamed clams of White Wine, Garlic, Cilantro, Serrano Chilies appetizer. For the main course we ordered and shared the dry aged porterhouse for 2 with a side of french fries, broccoli rabe and sauce béarnaise. We also ordered the Paella Española with Prawns, Clams, Calamari and Cod for 2. The items are familiar enough to feel comfortable, yet unique enough to provide an unforgettable culinary experience. We ordered multiple desserts starting with the (1) strawberry shortcake with fresh berries, (2) Apple Galette, (3) Ricotta Cheesecake with Raspberries, (4) Mango Créme Caramel, (5) Pistachio Parfait, (6) Vanilla Sorbet.

Definitely book a table in advance. I assume this place will start to get busy as it becomes more well known. There is an a la carte menu and a prix fixe menu. Drinks were exceptional. Food was excellent (honestly, it almost made me cry in my first bite) and on par with the restaurants in the city. Decor and cutlery were both clean and beautiful. Service was extremely attentive and caring. It’s wonderful to have such a restaurant at this caliber in Long Island.

Everything about this restaurant was terrific. Leo, the maitre d is so friendly and professional and our waiter Francisco was also friendly and attentive. Service was great. Now the food was delicious. I had the paella and it had to be the best paella I’ve ever had in NY. I highly recommend this restaurant. Looking forward to going back with family and friends.

Compliments to the chef. The food is a revelation but the overall experience is outstanding. It all began before we even arrived with a request for French Rosé Wine we made and selections were waiting for us when we arrived. Kat our server knew her wines and the food. Provided great dessert recommendations to round out a great meal. Highly recommend the Foie Gras, Veal Chop and Pistachio Parfait. Will be back again this place rivals any top restaurant in NYC. Reservations recommended.

Fine dining at its best! The red meat and seafood dishes were cooked to perfection. A diverse menu of drinks, elegant atmosphere, and the host/manager Bogdan made the experience all the more special with his hospitality and care. Definitely coming back many more times!

The manager Bagdan was really welcoming and made every effort for us to enjoy the experience. The staff are really nice and the quality of food and decor is wonderdul. The Paella and Lamb chops were out of this world.
