Mrs. Flip Out had this to say about this coffee shop: It had been quite a while since I last stopped in and I was curious about it after reading their mission on their website. The changes to this coffee shop definitely reflected what they described on their website. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the barista was friendly. I ordered my usual breve and the coffee roast they had that day had brighter notes, which made it more distinctive. Comma also has a small plant shop and other small merchandise. Neat coffee shop in Shawnee!

Great local coffee shop near downtown. A little out of the way, but actually quite convenient to downtown Shawnee. Lots of space, great atmosphere, and of course, GREAT coffee. If you like great coffee, or the fancy chain drinks, then give Comma a visit–better service, better taste, and better value…

I wasn’t too ticked to see a barefoot child on the service counter where the food and coffee is picked up. I didn’t observe counter cleaning after he jumped down so that in itself made my stomach turn over.

Nice enough atmosphere, but we waited a crazy amount of time for our drinks, food is overpriced, and the place seems to allow unhoused people to wander around and use bathrooms. Won’t return because we are just passing through, but also also do not recommend to anyone looking for an independent coffee shop off the interstate. Just stick with a chain and keep driving.

This place . A God send. So beautiful and clean inside and the hearts of the baristas are even more beautiful. Eager to serve always smiling and make a truly great cup of Joe. You can actually taste the coffee and it’s not just sugar and milk or burnt tasting. Phenomenal.

Great place for a 1st date! Meeting friends, family, & neighbors. The staff were very sweet. I had a white mocha latte & a orange scone…they were both delicious. Next time, I’ll have to try their brunch menu. Love this for the town of Shawnee…really love this for my hometown.

It’s what it looks like. Another downtown place for great coffee ☕ with good friendly service. They treated me right and although the area wasn’t Disneyland, this place stood out. Give them a try if you are in the area.
