Good place to eat! Wonderful of you want a variety of food and desserts to compliment your meal! Always clean, great service, excellent food! The roast wasn’t very lean and had to be picked apart for the first time ever. The fried chicken is a safe direction, along with the Club sandwich and salads! There’s many directions you can go with food. These are usually our “goto” meals! You can’t go wrong here! It’s not the cheapest place to eat, so be prepared for your bill!

We got in a half hour before they closed and we were seated. Seemed like they were a little irritated but were gracious enough. All the food was amazing too. We went back and ordered pies for my nephews birthday after this experience. So

Dinner selections were appealing. went the safe route and got the burger. Probably should have stuck with dinner plates. Burger was dry and tuff. Large portions for all food. Cinnamon rolls are massive but very tasty. My brother had the tenderloin with mashed potatoes. Tenderloin was very crispy, and the mashed Potatoes were so soft and buttery. Service was ok.

I’ll tell you a couple of things. Our waiter Derek was awesome. I would have to say in my top 3 favorite waiters. The food was fantastic. You could tell the tenders were fried in fresh oil. About my only criticism would the green beans were bland and the air vents need to be cleaned. I hope you get Derek. You won’t be disappointed.

Enjoyed my turkey and dressing and my daughter ate all her pancakes got a cinnamon roll to go! Only thing I could say is my cranberry sauce tasted smoked like it’s kept to close to the grill or something.

Corner cafe has been a staple breakfast location in the greater Kansas City area for decades and it still is but this location is lacking in ways it shouldn’t be. The eggs felt lackluster but not bad in taste. The corn beef hash was wildly different in terms of preparation from what is normal but did still taste quite good. The biggest issue was the hash browns; they were hard yet soggy, a minimal crunch between soft and wet innards. I do not understand how a breakfast place can fail this badly at something as simple and as much of a staple as hash browns. Pic rel.

When seated we got a dirty table I said something and the waiter wiped the table down but was still sticky. I think it had maple syrup spilled on it. As after the waiter wiped it was only sticky in spots…

I had the Chicken Fingers platter, with onion rings and corn. The onion rings as ever are dry (grease free) and delicious. The Chicken was tender and crispy. The service was friendly and attentive. 2023.

What’s not to like about Corner Cafe? Recently went to the Liberty location with some friends and had a wonderful time. I had a tenderloin, which is my standard order for a lot of restaurants, and it was very good. The onion rings were delicious. Two of the ladies ordered chicken and noodles, which came with a homemade roll. The only downside to this place is that, with their bakery right inside the door and the goods on display, it is nearly impossible to resist dessert, especially since you enjoy the delicious aromas during your meal. I love the country atmosphere and the friendly staff. When I was still working, we used to send someone from downtown KC to their Riverside location to pick up our dinner orders. Never disappointed!
