We were hesitant to try Curry Leaf because of the mixed reviews, glad we did. We will be going back. We showed up at the same time as two other parties, the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered the fried wontons, Roti and Indian Mee Goreng. The wontons were crips and flavorful. The Roti was kind of basic however the lentil sauce served with it was delicious! The Mee Goreng was great, nice grilled chicken with yummy noodles. I did have to ask for a side of chili oil, not sure if it was forgotten when it was made…

Gave this place a second try. The Pad Thai was ok, but a little bland. The chili oil tasted very different from the first time. Reminded me a of spicy spaghetti sauce.

Had a wonderful experience at Curry Leaf with my mom and sister. We ordered a variety of dim sum which included two specials, as well as the street wontons with chili oil, and their fried potstickers. We enjoyed ALL of them.

I’m from Malaysia and ordered 2 Nasi Lemak and thought it would be taste at least nearly the Malaysian taste. It was worst than I expected.

This was my first visit to this place and I got to say it was not bad. The food was decent we ended up ordering the kimchi fried rice, the shrimp Chow fun and the chicken curry. The noodles were a mix of savory and a hint of sweetness to them, we were expecting the kimchi fried rice to be a bit more kimchi flavor but it was lacking kimchi and spicy flavors. The curry had strong flavors with just the right amount of spice, I do wish they cut the chicken and potatoes in this dish to be half of the size they were because they were not bit size. The only let down in my opinion was our server… They were not very knowledgeable about the menu, unsure about almost every question that I asked, also it took quite a long to for our sodas to come out. Non the less the portions were sharing size and we spent an hour there in total and they only had 7 tables at the time.

Read the reviews first and then was like I’ll give a try and man it’s the best when it comes to fried rice and walnut shrimp. Don’t forget to try the Calamari and tell them medium cooked. The best I would recommend. 5 stars seriously couldn’t find anything nearby the good thing we picked this place. Tip to the owner for beef fried rice the meat is dry and over cooked. It’s better if you can cook medium on beef as well!

HOLY SMOKES! Curry Leaf breathes a life of fresh air into Humboldt’s gastronomy scene. All around me on a Friday night, I see fresh, beautifully-prepared dishes, ranging from ramen to xiaolongbao to chow fun. You can tell the owners put their heart and soul into every part of this restaurant. The staff was attentive and happy to recommend their favorite dishes. I’ll be around! I’ll be visiting often!… you can’t stay away from such a perfect place!
