The food is okay. Definitely not somewhere I’d return just because of the limited selection. Lots of the proteins that are available are not listed on the menu. I ordered the veggie plate, and then the server asked, “Would you like to add a protein?” They had grilled chicken to add to the veggie plate, but it was not advertised. I thought that was kind of weird. Also, it was a friend’s birthday and the server brought her a dessert menu, and patted it, saying, “this is for later”, as if the restaurant was providing her with a complimentary dessert. She ordered the dessert, and when her bill came, the cost of the dessert was on her bill we were all shocked, especially since we were going for dessert at another place after dinner. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Stopped here for lunch while I was in town for business. The gentleman who took care of us was exceptional. Very friendly and personable, not pushy and didn’t make you feel rushed to order. Came by just enough to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The food was delicious and the atmosphere I couldn’t get enough of. Good vibes all over this place. Loved it!!

We started with the crab dip and drinks. The bacon Manhattan was very tasty! I just had one of the best pork chops I’ve ever eaten! Paired with the grits and those collards would make you slap somebody! Holy cow!! The blackberry bread was also amazing with the black berry butter, which I would smear on anything! Wife had the crab cakes that made every morsel in our mouths run like the wind! The price of them could of been $30 and we would of been happy! We shared the crispy Brussels and after one I didn’t want to share! The price of them could of been $30 and we would of been happy! Fantastic meal with spot on service. If your traveling through Greenville, you must stop here!

This is real treat in downtown Greenville. The atmosphere is modern farmhouse. There is original art on the walls. Big farmhouse tables. A “market” in the back where you can get meats, produce, and desserts to go. Our server was knowledgeable and didn’t rush us. We started with the curry bread and burratta appetizer. My dad and I both had the burger – great seasoning. Excellent fries! My husband had fried oysters – perfectly thin, crunchy breading! My mom had scallops – a smaller portion, but perfect for her. Our son had chicken tenders and fries. We were all stuffed, so no room for dessert, but we seriously considered getting cinnamon rolls to go. My parents will be back for brunch.

Recently visited a friend who lives in GVL and had dinner at F+P. We ordered a few menu items to share as we frequently do when visiting a new place. One of the dishes we salivated over was the meatballs and gnocchi. We both were disappointed to realize after a few bites and our stomachs turning… that the meatballs are mainly pork. We are both not fans or pork but also felt for other patrons who may have religious reasons to avoid pork all together. The menu does not note anywhere that the meatballs are made with pork. Our server asked as she should have if we did not enjoy the dish because after one bite we both declined. We asked about what they were made of to learn indeed they were pork. We ended up having to pay in full. On a happy note, the salad was amazing but we likely will not return.

I would be hard pressed to name any way to improve our meal. We ordered the smoked salmon dip appetizer and duck and trout for our meals. Everything was excellent. I also can recommend the elderberry gimlet. Service was quick, friendly and non-obtrusive. We will come back!

A huge THANK YOU to the manager & our waitress at Fork & Plough for not only accomodating a big baby shower crowd but also gracefully handling unexpected changes & challenges with our large party in the patio area. They were kind and even above that they had a smile & welcoming attitude. You find that so far & few between in the service industry & these guys rocked it! Food was incredible…. I mean when is it ever less than incredible?!?!?.. “Not never”! Kudos to the cook staff! This place never disappoints! GREAT SERVICE, STAFF & FOOD! Cheers!!!

Enjoyed this restaurant. Food was excellent and served hot. Only issue we had, I order the ribeye and rec’d New York strip. Serve confirmed I order the ribeye and said what I rec’d was the ribeye. I did not argue the point and the NY strip was great.

It was my husband and I first time there, one of our sons took us for our birthdays. Two of our sons had eaten there before and really enjoyed it. The place was light and airy even though it was pouring rain outside. Every one was warm and gracious. The food was fresh and delicious. The menu changes but very nice eclectic choices. I have to say we literally all had clean plates when we left. I would highly suggest making reservations, we did and were glad. They also have a nice selection in their little market. We are definitely going back soon.

We chose this establishment on our travels based on reviews and boy were we impressed! The setting is super cute but more importantly, the food and service were impeccable! I had the hash breakfast while my girlfriend had the waffles and everything was amazing! The cream cheese frosting in the cinnamon bun was great as well. A+++
