The place does not have aesthetics or great service. But their food was great. The pastrami sandwich is amazing (5/5). The French fries smelled amazing but didn’t have much seasoning though..! They were fluffy not crunchy. The place was packed with people in a small space which scared me a little (2/5). But I guess it was everyday regulars. Overall don’t go expecting anything else apart from good food. They have parking but they don’t take cards.

Best pastrami sandwich in DC….by a landslide! A few other places had a decent one (like now closed On Rye in Chinatown), but they were always overpriced and just not worth the money. For under $9, you can get a large hot pastrami sandwich that will rock your taste buds (and it comes with a really, really good pickle).

Absolutely love the customer service!!! The staff is beyond friendly & always gets my order, right. It’s like my grandma home cooked food and that says alot.

This is a great family owned restaurant that makes some great sandwiches. We tried 3 different ones and couldn’t go wrong. Definitely stop here.

Nice hole in the walk that I’ve been going to for decades. I love the food from the big sandwiches to the generous dinner plates. Very friendly atmosphere.

Very nice deli, amazing for the location and how the place looks– it is a nondescript and unassuming hole in the wall– and quite good for DC! Prices are well within acceptable and the sandwich I got (pastrami on rye) was over-stuffed and worth the ten bucks.

You can have 2 stars due to the amount of meat in the sandwiches.

The breakfast is very nasty No seasoning on anything the Turkey sausage the brand is awful! Fried potatoes are mushy. Bread want covered with jelly just half way.
